Seventh Year Girl's Dorm

Kelsi stood in the room with her suitcase, staring around. It wasn't exactly a Hufflepuff dorm anymore...She blinked a few times, and set her suitcase by her called bed. "May as well get used to it." she thought to herself and sat down on the bed, placing her wand down next to her.

Kelsi sat on her bed with her legs crossed the one on top of the other one bouncing.

Kelsi woke up that morning. She felt horrible, sick, and exhausted. She couldn't even get up. "Libby," she said, once the alarm went off. "I don't think I can go to school today," she sighed slowly and sat up. She pressed her cheek against the cold bars of her bed, and looked outside of the curtains around her bed.

Alas, Libby was already gone and was eating breakfast in the great hall.

Kelsi looked at the alarm. "..." She had slept in. "Seriously?" She fell back into the bed and sighed heavily again.

Kelsi bit her lip and stared at the ceiling. She then turned over and fell asleep again.

Kelsi sat up. She kicked her covers away and stood up. There's no way she can go to the Hospital Wing. Impossible this year. Too risky. She slipped on her slippers and slumped to the mirror. Leaning against the drawer underneath the mirror, she stared at her reflection. She had shadows under her eyes and her dark hair was all over the place. Kelsi gasped. Closing her eyes, her hair turned red, shorter, and poofier. Her nose became the skislope nose, and everything was fixed and back to normal. "Okay." she said softly, and looked at her reflection. "I fucking hate this." she sighed, and her arms drooped until her elbows were against the table. She lifted her forearms and placed her face in her hands. Her shoulders were suddenly shaking. She breathed small shallow gasps and tears fell through her fingers.

Amanda flopped down onto her bed, sighing contently. Her mind was in the right place, a place it hadn't been in since the beginning on summer. All was right for that night in Amanda's world. She was so sprawled[spelling?] out on her bed she looked like a forgotten rag doll someone had left behind. Amanda laughed softly as she felt a familiar wieght of a furry friend land on her back and meow. Pinkie. The last thing Amanda heard as she slipped out of consiousness was Pinkie's meow.

Kelsi looked around, stumbling a bit. "Hurry, Libby!"

Libby tossed her bag on her bed, but hurriedly rifled through it, tossing papers all over the place. There, at the bottom, was her wand, safely tucked away. She pulled it out, and removed her big black Hufflepuff cloak. Sure, now she had no pockets to store her wand, but that bulky cloak would just get in the way.

"Okay! I'm ready!" Libby snatched a hair tie off of her bedside table, and hurriedly tied her long auburn hair back in a ponytail. Now it wouldn't get in her face or anything. Perfect.

Kelsi pulled her wand from her pocket. She grinned nervously. "Let's do this! I'm not scared at all." she nodded, and turned around, facing the mirror. She saw her reflection pointing the wand at herself, and stumbled backwards screaming, dropping her wand. "Oh. Right. Okay, I'm sorry, I'm TERRIFIED."

Libby reached out her hand to help Kelsi up. "I am, too. But, we're in this together! We always have been!" She then lowered herself so she was down at Kelsi's level. "And you know how you said you didn't know how to repay me? Here's how. We're going to go out there, and kick some ass!"

Kelsi's eyes glowed. With happiness. "You're amazing, Libby." She hugged her best friend in a rib-cracking hug. "Alright, let's do this, you bitch!" [[In regeneration, that's going to be her main sentence. =w=]]

"Gyaaah!" Libby cried out. She wasn't ever really hugged that hard. "LetgoofmeIcan'tbreath!" She choked out, trying to pry Kelsi's arms away. For being eight inches taller than Kelsi, she sure wasn't that much stronger.

Kelsi let go with a watery smile. "Sorry. C'mon!" She grabbed Libby's hand, and ran down the steps to the Great Hall.
