Girl's Dormitory

Serenity went up and sat down on her usual bed, bouncing on it a bit. "Only one more year of this." She mumbled, putting her suitcases under her bed, and letting out her cat. She had given away 5 out of the 6 *Selia kept hers through*, and only her favorite, Soufflé, remained.

Serenity had made it back successfully, and was petting Soufflé nervously.

Serenity just kept petting her cat, wishing Rachel would be back.

Rachel came upstairs, and sat down on her bed, staring at her lap. "So, I got detention."

"Really, Rachel? I didn't. He just kicked me out. I got him in the arm with that curse, though."

"No no no, not by him. Didn't you hear me scream and run out?" She then explained what happened between her and those two first-years and that nasty lady.

"...And that's pretty much it." She suddenly looked very grumpy. "Those two kids better be happy. I saved their sorry butts."

"Rachel, that was really sweet of you." Serenity said earnestly, smiling. "I wonder if anyone actually did it.. I'll jinx them."

"Bleh. I couldn't leave those two kids just standing there in the face of death." she said, sounding a little smug, but not to much. ;D

"That damn chinchilla.. It had such cute eyes.."

"I wonder what end up happening to it." she said thoughtfully.

"Some asshole probably took its fur off."

"It's fur off?!" she looked horrified. "That poor thing! That would feel like... someone pulling out your hair!"

Serenity screamed in horror and held onto her hair.

"Exactly." she said, and then she was quiet for a long time, laying on her bed, and staring up at her ceiling, which had a mural with all constellations in the starry sky. The seventh years had the best dorm, but the elegance seemed to be lost upon Rachel in that moment.

After a long, long time. She sat up. "Listen. I gotta go to detention. Don't do anything to mad while I'm gone." And with that, she carefully got up from her bed and walked out.

"Bye. Be careful. Come back as soon as you can- I'll be here!"

Rachel was laying in bed, staring at the ceiling, picking out the different constellations. Orion, The Dippers, Gemini... you name it. Yes, she could have been asleep, but she was too frightened too. She had been up reading a book written by a Muggle-1984, and she was considerably freaked out. The comparison between the world in the book, and her own was far too real.

And, besides that, she hurt everywhere. She had many bruises on her back, and they were sore to lie down on. But, it also hurt to lie down on her stomach, for the same reason.

In all, she was stuck.

Serenity woke up on the first of October, smiling in the cool fall air. She lit up the stove in the middle of the room, as she was the first to wake up, put on her uniform, and went downstairs into the common room, in an excellent mood.

And, Serenity woke up on the 31st of October, feeling horrible. "Rachel?" She whispered. "I think I'm sick.."

Rachel was laying in bed, half asleep from it all...

Rachel sat up and stretched a bit. The kids from Hogsmeade were probably going to start coming home now.

"Rachel!" Selia said, sort of out of breath. "My day was.. exciting. Your sister tortured me, though." Selia sat down on Rachel's bed excitedly and told the whole story.

"WAIT!! SHE DID WHAT?!" shrieked Rachel.

"Yeah. She kissed Jake and then slapped him and then used the Cructaious (I CAN NEVER SPELL IT) Curse on the both of us." Selia said, again.

Rachel looked absolutely appalled. "WHAT?! That terrible little..." she looked extremely PO'd, so to speak. "Kissing other boys, like they're objects... terrible..."
