Boris grinned. "I could say we're rich, but... for loads of inheritance, it doesn't really work that way in my family."

"Again, that sucks. I just get allowances and stuff. Big ones. They've really added up; I'm probably set until... I die."

"That's insane! Like... really!"

"Insanely awesome! Unless they cut me off. But they love me too much for that!"

"You've never really spoken of your parents."

"Not much to say, I guess."

Boris shrugged. "Same with mine," he lied. "Anyways, I've read in your letter that... umm," He placed his finger on his cheek. Right under his well-placed cheekbone, that had that softly rounded effect to it, and slightly high, giving him a more masculine and polished look. His gray eyes sarcastically looked up to the side, slowly disappearing behind his eyelid as he blinked slowly. When he opened his eyes, he was looking straight at Olivia again. "Umm, right. They were making you torture animals? How's that going?" He looked slightly humoured, but also quite serious.

[geez i can't even type four lines of shit that actually matters.]

"Yeah, yeah... It's good, killed a squirrel the other day. Well, I didn't."

[[Nah. You can do it. you've done it. like... Three of four times.]]


"Wow... Some class you've got there. You'd think they'd teach you more useful things, like, for example, spells?"

"We're using spells. The animals are just to practice on."

"Oh. That makes more sense. Hmm... I'm depressed that I left school. But at the same time, I suppose I'm kind of happy, you know? To be missing this kind of year."

"So?" She shrugged.

Bore nodded slowly. "... Whoah, it's getting kind of late, you should head back.."

"Oh?" Olivia looked up. "Should really start wearing a watch..."

Boris nodded. "Yeah, seriously. You should. Send me more letters, okay? Remember, I'm not that far away."

"But I hate the Owlery... Oh, well, bye." Olivia decided Amanda could find her way back on her own, so she just went straight back to the castle.

"Hey, be safe, okay?" he called out to her.
