Charms

Karin, who had already ate breakfast, was sitting next to Antonio, was reading over notes again for this class, preparing for an upcoming quiz.

Antonio had his arm around Karin's shoulders and was smirking. He looked a lot like his brother, only with messier hair and slightly younger. And his eyes were darker. Either way, he was there looking over Karin's head at the notes. "I heard what you did at their detention. I'm proud to call you my girlfriend."

She looked up at him, and smiled, and she pecked him on the cheek. But then she lowered her voice to a whisper.

"You know what else I did? I told the Carrows that the Cruises were in hiding."

"Ah... so it was you. I knew there was something peculiar on those 'Germans'."

"Pah, I knew it from the start. I was just kind enough not to mention anything."

"Good thing you got rid of that garbage now."

"Someone has to take it out, sometime."

Antonio smirked. He adjusted himself in the seat and looked over the notes. "I'm good, you?"

"Yes, I am too. This quiz will be a breeze!" she said.

Antonio sighed happily. "If only the weather were as nice as I feel at the moment." He stared longing at the frost-covered window-- Winter was rolling in.

"I love winter though! It means the arrival of Christmas time!"

"I love Winter once all the storming and snowing has settled down, and the skies are blue, and the ground is covered in snow."

"That IS quite beautiful, but fall is my favorite season. Shame it's leaving us behind once more..."

Suddenly, there was the feeling that someone was breathing down our lovely antiheroine's neck.

Karin spun around to see who, it was and then, she couldn't help but scream.

"AAAAH!!" she screamed, and she moved so quickly the chair fell back onto the guy. She quickly stood up, still looking terrified. She then pointed at the guy, and began to speak, stuttering and pausing frequently from fright.

"You... YOU!! I tho-thought yo-you had TRANSFERRED... or something!!"

Claude peered up at her through his overgrown, messy blonde hair. "K-Karin, my love?" He slowly stood up, reaching to take Karin's hand. "Is it truly you? After all these years..."

"Get away, you creeper!" she shouted. "I hate you! And you know that!"

"Ah, absence makes the heart go yonder... How horrifying! But, my darling, it's so wonderful to see you again!" Claude's eyes then locked on the lovely antiheroine's somewhat lovely antihero love interest. "And who is this, this... baboon who's got his arm slung around you?" He pointed accusingly at Antonio. "Shoo, you foul, wayward foot-licker."

"He is my BOYFRIEND, thank you very much! AND, don't you DARE call him a baboon you... you... cheese licking COW!" she yelled, shouting the first insult she could think of offhand.

He stared at her, keeping the same, lovesick smile. "Boyfriend? This fishmonger? Nonsense, he's nowhere near your caliber! Why would a blossoming rose like you even so much as spare a second glance at a lowly weed like him!?"

"He's NOT a lowly weed! He's a high rising MORNING GLORY!" she exclaimed.

"I'm sure my glory in the morning is far more glorious than this grey-coated gnat."

"Well, it's pretty early in the morning now and I see nothing glorious in your state!"

"Nonsense, it's nearly ten."
