"Fine! Just let it be known that you aren't getting any of this"--Jessica waved her hand around her body to indicate she was speaking of herself--"ever again. I gave you one last chance, but I guess you just don't want it. Nor my flexibility. Hmm!"

With that, she stalked out of the office, leaving Holly and Eric alone. After a few moments of silence, Holly spoke up and said, "I swear, Eric, she was normal when I got you guys together in Hogwarts."

Eric shook his head. He was red though. "No, it's fine, it's fine... The most normal end up obsessive."

Rachel had just gotten off the elevator in the Supreme Defense department, holding a plate of Christmas sugar cookies covered in saran wrap tied with a cute red ribbon. Hanging on her arm was her purse. And yes, she hadn't forgotten to put on her wedding ring that day.

Blaine was just emerging from a meeting with his boss, Yeldarb. He was rubbing his hands together and hadn't really noticed Rachel yet. He was pretty tired, considering he had arrived at work around five am that morning.

Nicolas, who was walking through the hall, breezed right past her, not noticing her at all. He was shouting stuff to some of the Aurors in the hall, and then disappeared into his office, whereupon he sat down at his desk and began looking for something amongst all the paperwork.

And she walked up to him.

"Excuse me, do you know what Nicolas Sawyer's office is? I need to give him something." Rachel asked politely.

Blaine smiled happily. "Of course I do! Aren't you quite the pretty lady. You know, you're really lucky to have hair like that." he said with a charming appearance.

"Well... thank you." she said with a small smile, but her eyes still looked rather anxious. "Anyway, what direction is his office?"

"Are these cookies?" he roamed to her hand with revealed the ring. "Quite the nice ring there," he said with a smile. "You know, it fits really well your hands. You really have such nice soft skin." he said smiling, and laid his hand on top of hers.

Rachel snatched her hand away from his protectively, and she looked worried. Did this man want to rape her?! "Look, I appreciate this and all, but I REALLY need to find his office..."

"You sure? He's quite busy right now.. If you want you could come into my office and set the cookies on my desk," He meant this not the way it really seemed.

"Oh, stop hitting on me!" she exclaimed angrily. "Mr. Blaine or whoever I'm assuming you are, I am MARRIED to Nick, thank you very much! And I'm happily so!" She then set the cookies on the floor, and hit Blaine across the face using her purse. She picked up the plate, and continued on her way, with her nose in the air. "I'll just find his office myself!"

Blaine sighed disapprovingly. "Sure, sure, whatever." He then reentered his office.

Rachel was mumbling insults under her breath the entire time she was walking to Nick's office.

"Stupid player... who does he think he is, Arnold Schwarzenegger?! Hah!... There's no way I'm as easy as other girls he's charmed..."

Nicolas, while all of this was going down, was organizing the mess of papers on his desk. He was oblivious to what was going on, since the rooms blocked out the outside sound to prevent distractions and his door was closed.

And Rachel burst in his office.

"Nick, honey!" she said, grinning at him. "I brought you something!"

"Hey!" A smile spread across Nick's face when she barged in, and he went over to her, giving her a kiss and graciously taking the cookies. "Oooh, they smell delicious... thank you!"

"Your welcome. But Nick..." She went over and shut the door, so no one could hear them. "You know that tall really buff guy with that ugly smile? He tried to hit on me while I was trying to your office! So I slapped him with my purse!" Rachel added in proudly.

Nicolas set the cookies down next to the tray of muffins that Holly had brought earlier--and stared at Rachel blankly. "You... you slapped..." he was desperately trying to put words together. On one hand, his wife had just slapped someone who tried to hit on her, which was a good thing. On the other, his wife had just slapped his boss. That didn't bode well.

"Wait... who did I slap Nick?! All I did was slap a Arnold Schwarzenegger wannabe..."

"Was he Asian?" Nicolas managed to get out.

"Yes, he was. Nick, you're starting to scare me!"

"Oh my God," Nick mumbled, sinking into his desk chair. "Ohhh God. Rachel, you slapped my boss."

Rachel's jaw drop. "...That was your boss?" She was silent for a moment, before freaking out. "OH MY GOD! I'M SOOO SORRY!" she screeched.

"Not only that, but you're in an office full of Aurors! Whatever made you think slapping one of the most powerful is a good idea?!"
