"I'm not corrupt. And I don't need hobbies."

"You'll grow insane. I'll guarantee it. So, do you plan of having a boy or girl first? Tell me what color booties you want me to make for them?"

"Well, I want a girl, but from what I heard it's not really an option. Go ahead and make pink ones, I suppose, as a hopeful."

Rachel smiled happily. "Of course I will! Let me finish this pair and I'll work on those. They don't take me long to knit."

"Thank you so much, Rachel!" Serenity said, smiling. "What do you think I'd be good at?"

"Good at what?" she asked.

"For a hobby!" She exclaimed.

"Um... you could try music. Like piano playing." Hey, they had enough money to afford a grand piano or something.

"Nah. That sounds so romantic, though. If I have a daughter, I'll make her play the piano. A boy playing the piano.. It just sounds gay to me."

"Um... you could try drawing? Or sewing how I do? You might like quilting."

"Um, no thanks. It's far too time-consuming."

"Then you think of something! I'm sure you can find something you want to do better than I can."

A couple hours later, after Rachel and Serenity were done visiting, she came back into the house, and was in the kitchen, beginning to prepare dinner, with Sophia to help her.

"Be careful with washing the vegetables, honey." she murmured quietly.

At that very moment, Max was knocking on the door, with a very grave expression on his face.

"I'll get it."

Nicolas got up from where he was in the living room, playing with the puppy, and answered the door.

Max stared at Nick for a few minutes, blinked a couple times, and finally embraced him, while yelling "YOU'RE ALIVE!"

Nicolas gave Max a MANLY HUG, patting him on the back a few times. "Of course I'm alive! What'd you think happened?"

Max shrugged. "I dunno, I thought you died or something. I don't remember the last time I've seen you. Where you've been?!"

"I've been really busy... work, kids, all of that."

"Well, I've been doing all of that, and still have found time for myself... come on, you can't be working THAT much!"

"Well, my assistant, he just got engaged... I've been letting him get off work early, but that's just put more work on me."

Max eyes suddenly widened to an almost cartoonish extent.

"So you've REPLACED me!" he yelled, jumping straight to conclusion. "That's why! Nick, I thought I was your best friend!"

"NO!" Nicolas cried, shooing Max out onto the front porch and closing the door behind him. "No, I haven't replaced you, it's just between everything that's going on, I barely have time for anything! My sister just moved in with us, too, did I tell you?"

"No no, you have not, figuring we haven't seen each other for a long time. Nick, why haven't you contacted me?! I mean, you could have sent me an owl or something. Or were you too busy at the Leaky Cauldron with your assistant?!" he exclaimed sounding very melodramatic.

"Have you attempted to contact me at all?" Nicolas asked rhetorically. "No, you haven't!"

Amanda came walking up the path to the house, humming quietly to herself. Her arms were swinging at the sides slightly, and one hand was baring two rings, and her stomach had a baby bump going on. She knocked on the door, over enthusiastically smiling.
