A Romantic Little Muggle Restaurant

Robin was sitting here, in a long black dress, her long hair sleeked back with keep-in conditioner. She was happy- She's been with Clyde for a long time now, she felt very close to him- the two told each other EVERYTHING. They had what you would call a stable relationship. And so, he had taken her out to this small restaurant, which despite being so little, was extremely fancy. The entrees were up to fifty dollars. Of course, they shared a twenty-dollar one- the beef carpaccio. He had left the table to go to the bathroom, and she was just sitting there happily playing around with an olive in the plate with her fork with a peaceful smile on her face.

Clyde stood in front of the mirror, staring at his reflection. He was playing with something in his pocket. For once, he looked quite formal. He finally got his hair tamed, so it wasn't as shaggy as usual, and he was wearing a toned down version of a tuxedo. With a deep breath, he stopped fiddling with whatever was in his pocket. Using his elbow to push the bathroom door open (Who'd want to touch the germy handle!?), he made his way back out to Robin. All this time they had been together, Clyde felt extremely happy. Everything in his life was pretty stable. He had a good job, a great girlfriend, and still had a few friends. Everything was falling into place.

Clyde appeared at the table, wearing a grin on his face. It was much less goofy than it used to be back when he was a fifth year, it actually looked kind of, appealing. "Robin, may I ask you something?"

Robin frowned. "Sure!" She grinned, and looked at him. "So?"

Clyde dropped down to his knee, muttering about the dirty resteraunt floor, and how stupid the prices were if this was how unclean the floor was. "Robin Cruise, I have loved every moment I've spent with you these months, and would love it even more to spend the rest of them with you." He pulled out a small, black velvet box from him pocket, and opened it to show a small silver ring. "Will you marry me?"

[EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE]

Robin's eyes widened. "WHAT?! Oh my God, YES!" she cried out, and threw her arms around Clyde. Indeed, she did so without hesitation. She loved him too, to be honest, and had been waiting for this moment too long.

Clyde accepted the hug, holding robin tightly. The entire dinner he wasn't able to concentrate, thinking about what would have happened if she said no. But really, it was all great now. "I love you..." He said quietly into her ear, still in the hug.

"I love you too, Clyde!" She cried happily. "Oh my Gosh, this is... this is amazing."

"Isn't it?" He said, his voice quivering slightly out of pure joy.

"We should... finish dinner- I mean, people are staring. But, when we get to my apartment, we can scream and everything."

"Let them stare," He said, pecking her cheek again. "But, we probably should finish up. Who knows where else we'll get such quality food for such overpriced prices."

"Oh... I can't eat anymore!" She said happily. "I mean... we're engaged now!"

Clyde nodded excitedly. "We, we should go on some sort of cliche, romantic horse ride. Or, a broom ride. The second sounds more fun. I could just leave the money on the table, and we could go."

"Broom ride!"

Clyde put the equivalent of forty dollars in pounds onto the table after fishing out his wallet. "Do you still have a broom? I think mine is next to the door of my apartment..."

"No, I don't..."

"Well, mine is probably big enough for the both of us. You'll just have to hold on tight." Clyde said with a slight wink.

Robin frowned. "That sounded really wrong..." she sighed.

Clyde thought about it for a minute. "...Oh wow, it did. Anyways, ahem, should we go now?"

"Yeah, obviously!" And so, they went. And flew over these woods. And it was amazing, and romantic. And they just made out a ton in the forest and it was just so sweet and stuff.

They flew through the night sky, the wind rushing by them and onto their faces. The silhouette of the woods was a gorgeous, picturesque scene. After they flew through and made out and what not, Clyde had them hovering just above a little river in the forest. "This is one of the best nights of my life." He said, turning to her with the goofy grin on his face from fifth year.

Altogether, it was the best date they had together.
