Windowseat

Serenity sat in the window seat, eyes closed, curled up around the gargoyle already sitting there, plugging her ears.

"Nice day, is it not? A bit snowy for my preferences," said Angel, who apparently had followed her.

Serenity sighed. "Your talking about the weather. British people often start a conversation with strangers and friends by talking about the weather. As weather is a neutral topic of conversation, it's usually safe to use it to strike up a conversation. I'm studying conversation analysis. So why are you talking about safe topics? You don't trust me. And, I'm not a stranger." She smiled like Haruhi, then blinked. "Or do you think I'll be mad if you talk about anything but the weather? I need my textbook."

"Anyone anywhere around the world starts a conversation with someone they think might be awkward to speak to with the topic of the weather. And actually, I figured it would be quite fitting, seeing as we're standing in front of a large window gazing down upon the school grounds. And for what reason would I trust you, Miss Friend-of-my-sister's?" He then smiled his signature smile and added, "I burned it."

"You burned my three galleon book? And what do the school grounds matter if the weather's nice somewhere? Why would I be awkward to speak to?" Serenity crossed her arms while sitting, which is particularly hard. And why am I asking so many questions, she said sarcastically in her mind. -ouran box [INNER MIND THEATER SHOWS EVERYONE AS A CARTOON.]- "Well because I'm a most trustworthy person, that's why! I didn't tell anybody Cedric Diggory was gay last year, did I?"

"Cedric isn't the least bit homosexual, so you would have no reason to. Also, that book was an abomination."

"True. But how do you know he's not, eh? Caught him making out with Chang? She's a total.." Serenity didn't want to say what she thought Cho Chang was in front of Angel, so she quickly changed the subject. "You think all books are abominations unless they're more than two hundred pages, Angel, why is the guide any different?"

"Because, you of all people shouldn't need a guide. And furthermore, I don't know why on earth you would like a nerd. And also - " He stopped there.

"You don't classify yourself as a nerd? And don't stop talking, I'm listening!"

"No, I hold myself in a higher respect."

"Well what do you classify yourself as, then, so I can get the proper book next time!"

"You don't need a book, Serenity."

[Didn't you say you left it in your aunt's car or something?]

[SHE CAN'T FIND IT!!! MY MOM AND DAD ARE GONNA GET A NEW ONE. Oh well, at least my phone didn't end the same way as Macey's. Her phone is attracted to pee. It fell in a pee filled lake, then she flushed her new one down the toilet!!]
"Well I obviously do! You keep ignoring me!" Serenity crossed her arms.

(If I lost MY phone I would either A. Go without one, or B. Buy a new one myself. -_-)

"It's quite rude to interrupt where you aren't wanted."

"Your sister does it all the time! Oh, now your going to go all whatever it's called, Y-Toronto.." Serenity really couldn't remember. "Umm.. Yanandre, because I somehow did something to harm your crazy, much more awesome than you sister! Well, all you ever do is sit in there and talk about dolls, so WHEN AM I SUPPOSED TO USE MY TEXTBOOK ON YOU?!"

"Yandere," he said, looking perfectly calm. "And no, I'm not. Also, it's a board game, and I'm sure you would enjoy it if you tried it."

Serenity mumbled about too much thinking.
"You haven't answered my last question. Your always in there. Do you EVER come out?"

"Of course."

"Well.. Will you go on the valentine's day Hogsmade trip with me, then?" Serenity turned pink but kept her stubborn face.

[.. Dunno if there's one this year, but since there is year after next, I'm going along with it.]

"I'd be glad to," he said, smiling again.

Serenity smiled and jumped up. "Ok! See you later then!" Then she walked off, trying not to scream and jump around until he was out of range.

Nonetheless, he still heard it. He crossed his arms behind him and walked the other way.
