Serenity blushed. "There are stretching charms and jinxes. Sometimes I wish I lived in Egypt."

"I wish that I had freckles," Kelsi said longingly in a dreamy voice.
"You know? Lightly splashed onto my nose? Hardly visible unless you look real close..."

Serenity shook her head. "I wish my face wasn't so fat. I would look weird with freckles. You would look amazing, though. Here, stand still!" Serenity ran and got something that seemed like a can of very light orangeish tan spraypaint, and a mask with little freckle shaped holes.

"No- I'm tan enough, and I'm sure that the mask isn't a good idea, Serenity. And why? You look beautiful, I don't know why you're so low in your self-esteem!"

"Because Mum and Selia are prettier than me! But--Really I'm not, just the usual I really want to change." Serenity put the mask on Kelsi's face, putting her hair up in a net, and shook the can of paint. "Hold on, this won't take long, and you'll have gorgeous freckles!" She sprayed, careful not to hit anything. When it came out, there were going to be gorgeous, not too-dark, just like Kelsi described freckles on her nose area. That's what it had always done, and that's what it had said on the back of the can. Serenity covered her eyes, coughing. "Well, let's have off that mask so we can see it!"

"Wait- wait- wait- no- Serenity!"

Serenity laughed evilly, taking off the mask and hairnet like a person with an evil monster on their hands. She covered Kelsi's eyes, opening up the giant plastic oyster mirror. Serenity took her hands off Kelsi's eyes, screaming "TADAA!"

Kelsi touched the freckles with the hand that had the tattoos on them from the party.
"Man, It's adorable, Serenity! But tell me, is it permenant?"

"It washes off with dragon blood, but nothing else."

"Then- Then- Then HOW will I be able to remove it?! Where can I find dragon blood?"

"You don't like it? I've got some, it's an amazing makeup remover!" Serenity pulled out a bottle of dragon-blood makeup remover, guaranteed to remove makeup, zits, and leeches. Now with a vanilla smell!

"Oh, of course I love it! But if I might want to take it off... you know?" she laughed nervously. It was 1:00PM.

"Happy new year,"

Lavender kicked off her shoes, and looked at her socks.

Kelsi settled back down next to Lavender after stumbling throug another thanks to Serenity. She smiled.
"Happy new year, Lav!"

"Back at'cha," Lavender said, and massaged her somewhat-smelly feet.

Serenity looked at her ceiling. "But--" Suddenly, streamers, fake fish, glitter, and TONS OF GLITTER SPARKLES crashed down on them. "It must have been off.." Serenity spun around, brushing glitter, streamers, fake fish, and more glitter sparkles off her and onto the ground.

Kelsi smiled weakly as all the stuff fell over them.
"... Yeah, happy new year." her smile widened, and soon she was grinning really widely.
"Third year together, guys."

Serenity ushered them into bed. "IT'S TIME FOR A DECOR CHANGE~! FINALLY, I'VE HAD TO DEAL WITH THIS GLOOMY BLUE FOR-EVER!"

Kelsi giggled.
"I'm tired," she said.

Lavender changed into some blue silk pajamas, and fell asleep.

Kelsi snuggled onto the couch, since the other mattress would be for Serenity. She immediately fell asleep.
