The Third Event [maze]

"Don't bite your nails. It's a terrible habit."

Serenity immediately put her hand down, looking at Angel again. What business did he have with her habits? In truth, what business did he have with her at all?

He kept watching the field.

Serenity continued glaring daggers at Angel.

He looked at her. "What?"

Serenity blinked, averting her eyes hurriedly. "Nothing."

"I thought so." He looked at the field again.

It's been thirty minutes. The cheering as quieted down, and Kelsi was slumped in her seat fanning herself lazily with her hand. The poster was dipped onto the floor and droplets of black and yellow sweat beads were hanging on her forehead.

Rachel began to blink sleepily again. "This is SOOO boring," she mumbled, and she began to nod off a little again...

"Kelsiiiii... the board..." Libby moaned, referring to the board that they had used earlier to fan themselves.

"Oh. . ." Kelsi let go of it and grabbed Libby's wrist tightly.
"The heat. . . Can't pick. . . up. . ."

Libby grabbed Kelsi's wrist. "It's too hot! Must retreat to indoors!"

Rachel didn't notice the heat. 'Cause, she was asleep. Yet again.

"Zzz..."

There was a flash of light on the field.

HARRY POTTER. WHO'D HAVE GUESSED. And Cedric. But, he seemed... a bit... out of things.

The band started up again.

Kelsi's eyes widened, and she tightened Libby's wrist. Slowly she turned her head and looked down.
"What... the... ffff..." The ffff drifted off.



CEDRIC DIGGORY WAS DEAD.

Libby's heart stopped for a moment. She, too, looked on the field. "... NOT THE HUFFLEPUFF. D:"

Everyone had stood up. Liv was trying to see. Stupid height.

Angel applauded, then stopped, noticing.

Kelsi pushed herself up, and nodded at Libby.
"I can't see anything."

Angel just stared. Olivia elbowed Bore. "Harry?"

The band stopped on a few sour notes. Fleur screamed.

Rachel than woke up with a sharp, noticing all the whole crowd standing up and the nose they were making and stuff. She than quickly tried to crawl through the crowd, so she could be closer to the field.

And she did that, and she saw Cedric Diggory's dead body.

Her mouth fell open slightly at the sight of it, and tears began to well up a little in her eyes. "What... happened?"

"Olivia- shhh." Bore was staring with his eyes extremely wide.

Harry was gripping on Cedric yelling and stuff.

"Screw it." Kelsi shoved her way through and once she made it to the railing, her breath caught in her throat.
"He's- he's- DEAD!"

"Lot of help you are." She stood on the bench. Then, she saw him.

Dumbledore was trying to get Harry to let go of Cedric.

"But how!?" yelled Rachel as she continued to stare with wide eyes at Cedric's body.

Harry was yelling about how Voldemort was back and stuff.

Libby pushed her way through with Kelsi.
