Amanda was now there, waiting for Tanner.

Amanda was leaning on a tree, wearing a black, long sleeved coat over her blouse. The slevees were too long and covered her hands. She also were a pair of purple gloves that were tight on her hands.

She sighed thinking about what she was going to say.

Amanda was leaned up against a tree with her tiny purple glasses on. Her black hair fell around her face as kept her head down to read. A useless, plastic, black and white dotted headband barely showed in her hair. She was wearing her favorite black flats and had one foot on the tree, the other on the ground. She wore a short sleeved white shirt with puffy sleeves. Over it was a open, black jacket that was too long so it covered her hands. She also wore a black skirt with white spots on it. Amanda was reading the poetry book she read when she first saw Tanner. She was reading the love poem she adored, wondering when he'd show up. Amanda was too nervous to actually do anything but read. Any thoughts were washed away with poems.

How convenient, at that moment, an owl perched in a tree branch above her.

Amanda looked up blankly, "Hey... have a letter?" She wasn't nreally in the mood for talking, but owls were just so ... owly ^-^

The owl looked around, then at Amanda. It held out its leg, on which there was, indeed, a letter.

Amanda slightly pulled the letter from it's leg and read the note: ?

There was a flattened rose with the stem cut off in it. "Sorry it's late. Happy Valentines Day."

Amanda looked at it and cryed out. She flung onto the tree as if it were for dear life. How could she break up with Tanner! HOW? She couldn't -- but he had no personality like he was hiding something like Tanner--- She the just let her self slip to the trunk of the tree and sit there, thinking. Amanda had her head in her hands and just waited for him.

And Tanner appeared. Wearing his uniform.
"Hey, so you wanted to see me?" Tanner grinned.

"Thanks for the card." Amandasmiled, holding it up. "But um.. yea.." She started to get more nervous then ever and sadder.

"What card?" Tanner settled next to Amanda and reached for the card. He read it.
"You didn't tell him yet, did you."

Amanda blinked feeling very stupid, "I only read the first part... I --- Ehhh... and the card speaks I guess..."
