It's actually The Ten Commandments. God gave them to Moses. They are sorta like things that God wanted His people to follow.

Whose Moses?
So are they laws?
Do you get thrown in prison if you dont follow them?
What happens if you don't pray every night?
I haven't prayed... in... ever?
Am I gonna go to Hell?
WHAT IF I DIE!!?!?!?!

The Ten Commandments:

1. God's the only god there is.
2. No idolatry.
3. Don't cuss with God's name.
4. Remember Sunday.
5. Honor your parents.
6. No killing.
7. No doing it with anyone other that your spouse.
8. No stealing.
9. No lying in court.
10. Don't covet.

Moses was the guy who set the Israel people from the Egyptions when they inslaved them with the help of God.

O we watched a movie about that. Then there was the great plague, and anyone who didn't get blood on their door was killed because god was taking revenge on the egyptians, and moses fled and parted the waters.

In a nutshell, that's what it is. And always capitalize God. It's respectful.

Here's my favorite Psalm. It helps me when I'm feeling discouraged and stuff.

"The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. He makes me to lie in green pastures. He leads me beside the still water. He restores me soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name sake.

Psalm 23, New Testament. It's just a part of it, but it's my favorite.
