"M-Me neither. But it's still ages away..." Kelsi groaned.
"Aha! Gelo! A cooling charm, most common used to cool hot potions by forming a coat of ice over the vail. In combat, it can be used to freeze target's specified body part." Kelsi read.

"Well then..." Said Rachel attempting to copy down what Kelsi has just said. "Say though, don't you think that Professor Snape would get mad at us or something if we did that? Cause I can imagine him taking off like twenty points from our houses if we did somethin' like that..."

"Euhhhwww. He'd probably snarl and tell us that he isn't teaching us charms and to only focus against wandwork, as it is the most complex magic, or- as he says- art that not even us "dunderheads" can compete with." Kelsi seemed surprised at her own complicated string of smartass words.

"...You still remember that stupid little pompous speech thing he gave us in first year? I forgot about that a long time ago. 'Till now anyway. But yeah, Professor Snape WOULD give us a stupid speech like that."

"It droned me off a bit. I don't really listened to it. But I do remember I nearly spilled my cauldron."

"I remember... you know, that lesson was a real blur to me. I just remember looking up and seeing Max's head every time I did so. And, what does pompous mean anyway?"

"Er... Oh, I dunno, look it up on the computer or in a dictionary..." Kelsi forgot there weren't any computers at this school, and who would want to bring a dictionary?

"Hey Kelsi, what IS a computer exactly, anyway?" asked Rachel, with a look of childish innocence and curiosity on her face. "I've heard of them, but never exactly figured out what they are."

"It's... a... Umm, kind of hard to explain. It brings you onto the internet, and you can play games on it, or it could be educational, it has a keyboard, and... umm. It's connected to electricity and it's really expensive."

"Oh. I'll just pretend I understood EXACTLY what you said," said Rachel, reading over the Charms book.

"I- Sorry! It's so hard to explain!" Kelsi cried out frustratingly.
"GOSH! Rachel, we need to work!!"

"I know, but..." Rachel looked down at the table sadly, looking rather crestfallen.

"Ugh, gotta work.. gotta work... C'mon, I'll work on our essays, you'll copy it down in your writing, okay?" Kelsi immediately began to write on a sheet of paper. Rather rushing. It was just a rough copy.

Kelsi smashed her textbook closed.
"Eh, Rach? I'm gonna head back to the common room, and finish in there. Okay? See ya later in class."
Kelsi waved and pushed all her stuff into her bag, and head off to her common room.

"BUT KELSI I DON'T WANNA DO ALL THIS WORK BY MYSELF!" whined Rachel.

"Oh, fine..." Kelsi turned around, and immediately continued to work on the essay.

"Thank you..." And Rachel proceeded to do nothing.

After alot of crossing out and rapid scribbling over, Kelsi eyed Rachel.
"Done. Now copy it down in your own handwriting, okay?" She handed Rachel a sheet that seemed to be covered in black and red scribbles and weird complicated doctor-writing that scrawled all over the page in un-even lines.

"Alright," And than Rachel began to skim through the entire essay, her look becoming even more puzzled by the minute. "Kelsi, how can you EVEN read this stuff? It's way to neat."

"Eh... well... It's a rough draft... and... I can read it..."

"Maybe it really IS a bad thing when your hand writing is too neat," said Rachel in wonder.

"...What? That's not neat. It's a mess, compared to my other stuff."

"Geez, I don't even wanna SEE your other stuff. It would be too painful."

"...Eh-he!" Kelsi began to laugh.
"Hey, class is gonna start in a few moments."

"Yeah... what do we have next? I never memorized my schedule."
