Classroom on the Fifth Floor...

Serenity's eyes lit up. "Can I sing you a lullaby?"

"Err... okay?"

Serenity patted his head some more, then closed her eyes and started to sing her song.

Lightning strikes the ground,

Rain pattered against the windows of the classroom, and she stared at him to see if he was asleep.

He sure looked like it.

Serenity grinned. "I did it!" She whispered, "I put someone to sleep! I can't believe my lullaby worked! YES! Sweet dreams, Charlie!" Jumping up, she returned to her chair, studying happily.

Charlie kept faking sleep. =w=

"Ohohohohohoho! I win!"

One fell off the table.

"Will you stop it you're going to wake him up!" Serenity went over to the window, looking out at the rain.

"Not my fault!" He scrambled to his feet. "You could have woken him up with that laugh."

[goodnight.]

"Oh will you shut up, it doesn't matter if I laugh, he's ASLEEP."

Serenity sighed and looked at the rain again. Rain made her oddly happy. There had been so little rain lately...
A crack of lightning lit up the grounds.
Rain, rain, rain... Torrents of it, bouncing off the ground, falling down and washing everything away from the Earth to restart the next day in boundless sunshine...
She sighed, watching as small drops fell onto the window.

Serenity yawned. "I'm out, it's time for a nap." She skipped out of the room, picking up her bag filled with books and heading back to the common room.

Serenity, after getting some weird stares in the hallways, had decided to do what Rachel had said-
make sure Angel loved the costume.

So, she slammed open the door, walking in with a Haruhi Suzumiya expression, one hand high in the air like she was carrying an invisible platter, looking confident.

[You sure love this don't'cha?]

And there was nobody there.

(The up and down is hypnotizing.)

It's funto watch.

Serenity checked her watch. Eight fifty two. "I'm up a bit early... I'll wait here for someone!" She plopped down in Angel's usual seat, grinning, and waited.

And time passed...

And she kept wearing...
And finally, she stood up, crossing her arms.
"WHERE IS EVERYONE!?"

Amanda walked in, looking pretty cute in her first costume. "Hey Serenity!"

Serenity was standing there, pouting in her bunny costume, shoulders slumped. "He's not here, Mandy! How am I supposed to show off my outfit if he's not heeere?"

Amanda yawned and streched her arms, "We could go wait in his common room?"

"He's a Gryffindor. I don't have the password. OH! I could get it out of Elroy! COME ON, LET'S GO, MANDY!" She grabbed Amanda, running off.

Olivia was waiting outside the classroom, dressed in her normal school uniform as usual. She knew Serenity would pass by eventually. She also had guessed that she had asked Elroy and he'd probably blabbed about the deal that she'd made with Chuck. So, she'd have to explain that it was all a misunderstanding. She was mentally rehearsing what she would say.

Serenity walked-ran past her, opening the door and slamming it shut behind her.
