And Kelsi bumped Serenity.
"Oh, hey, Sere. What's up?"

"Ah, just thinking. After school, we'll be free, you know? What's up with you?"

"Of course we'll be free. It's not like we want to stay home and do nothing, right? And nothing, really. I just came out of the common room because I couldn't stand the homework anymore. And don't I have small nails?" Kelsi thrust her hands in Serenity's face, for the fact that yes, her nails were surprisingly small.

"A bit. I have a tip to make them stronger and longer, though."

"Don't bite them?"

"Soak them in citric acid!"

"I- what?! Oh, forget it. What did you mean about us being free?"

"We'll do whatever we want. No curfew. No detention. It'll be great."

"What, did you get detention?"

"Two months with Umbridge. I stood up in class and told her the book was crap and only fit to be used as toiletpaper, and I wanted to leave, and she sent me to Dumbledore."

"Two-two- two-" Kelsi couldn't put herself to say it. She pulled her bangs out of her eyes and stared at Serenity clearly, as though doing this would help her hear better.
"Two- BUT THEN YOUR HAND'LL BE CHEWED OFF! NO!" Kelsi gripped her friend by her shoulders and shook her.
"Serenity, I swear, it's not as easy as it looks. One day set me off in tears- you saw it- two months will destroy you. I swear, you'll be scarred for life. And then your hand'll be all gnarled like Moody's face!" Kelsi cried out.

"I understand. Potter had half the year, though, didn't he? I'll be fi-" Serenity's voice cracked, and she started balling. "Kelsi!! I'm SCAAAAARED!"

"No, you have to be brave. Maybe it won't be lines! I'm sure she wouldn't do something that horrible for two months. Are you sure it's two months? Oh my god, how horrible! Just because you were standing up for her stupid lack of teaching! I mean, it was about time! We're hardly into the year, but you were so brave! STOP CRYING! It'll be okay, I'm sure it'll only be a couple of lines each day!" Kelsi held out her hands and tried to help Serenity calm down.

Serenity blinked, hugging Kelsi.
"She's just really scary. Yes, two months for sure. Thanks. And, it's probably a page."

"Oh, Libby is amazing in potions- she could find something to help you."

[We had Plant Class. Sprout thought it was her seventh year class and did Fanged Pirahna Flowers. Didn't do so hot. Serenity's escaped. END OF STORY.]

Katie stood there and blinked at the plant...

"WHAT IS THAT DOING IN HERE?" She yelled.

It was just waddling.

"Come here," Katie said putting some meat in front of her for it to eat. "I'll take you back home, once I have time."

The plant snatched it up. Then waddled off.

Rachel suddenly ran out, with her wand out in the air. "I know what to do!" she said waving it around. "I'll burn it out! That'll take good care of it!"

It started to come after Rachel, snapping at her furiously.

"No!" Katie yelled. Her eyes were stricken with fury, as she held out the piece of meat.
