Antonio shrugged. "Well, you're a bit fortunate."

"Yeah, I guess."

"So, let's go outside, then?"

"Yes!" And she walked right out through the living room, out to the back door, trying not to pay any attention to the Death Eaters.

Antonio walked quickly to her. "If you expect to see them, they're downstairs. In the basement. Honestly."

Boris was in his room, reading. It was nighttime now. Or, it was darker where they were. His little lamplight was on, casting looming shadows over everything in his room. His face's creases and hallows were casting shadows. He seemed totally immersed in his book.

I realized that Boris had graduated now and he didn't go to Hogwarts anymore. XP

He was yelling with his mom. "DAMN YOU! I DON'T WANT SOME UNBATHED STRANGER SLEEPING IN MY BED! WHO KNOWS WHAT HE'LL DO?!"

She yelled back, "I DON'T GIVE A" Suddenly the water boiler went off. She took it off the fire and returned to yelling at him. "YOU'RE DOING AS I TELL YOU!"

"WHERE WILL I STAY!?"

"YOU'RE 18, GET A HOUSE."

"YOU'RE NOT LENDING ME ANY MONEY!"

"SHUT UP!"

"Fine, you'll sleep on the couch."

"The Couch?! We have over six guest rooms in the house, and I'm sleeping on the couch?!"

"I don't want my unbathed son sleeping in my guest bedroom beds. Who knows what he'll do?" She turned back to her book.

Boris stared at her for a few moments. "I bathe, mom." He said after a long pause. "Why are you using my insult against me? Do you know how STUPID that sounds?"

"Lascilo leggere il mio libro, Boris. Lasci la vostra madre povera sola." She stretched her legs onto the table gracefully, and looked up with a smile that made her slightly aging face wrinkle around the eyes. Otherwise, she was a pretty attractive woman for 51.

Have one two as professors now. Had to kill small furry animals.

Rachel knocked furiously on the door.

Boris answered. He was home for the summer. Plus, he's made it to get into the big college, and then it's off to the Ministry of Magic.

"... Hey, Rashelle."

"It's Rachel." she corrected firmly. "Rachel M. Older sister of Karin M. Your ex-girlfriend might I add." she glared at him. "I'm here to talk to you."

"... Karin who?" Boris asked, looking confused.

Antonio appeared at the doorway. "She's here for me, Bore." he said quietly. His hair was shading his eyes.

"Ah. Well, whatever you did, it better not get us sued. We lost enough money." Bore said angrily. "Hell, our parents deserved it." He sighed, and smiled at Rachel. "Well, I'll leave you two." he nodded, and went to the kitchen.

Antonio walked up to Rachel. "Whatever you're going to do to me, I deserve it all." he said silently.

"You did!" Rachel dug out from a pocket what looked like a small book with a maroon cover. "This is Karin's diary. And there, are some entries about YOU in here." She flipped through the pages. "To summarize the later entries, you've basically been an abusive prick towards her." she stuffed the diary back in her cloak pocket. "AND NOW SHE'S DEAD! How does THAT make you feel?!"

He didn't reply. "I... I don't think she'd like it if you read her entries."

"I didn't want to read her entries." she said glumly. "But for the last couple weeks of school, she had been acting so strange. I had to find out." she sighed. "...Look, I'm sorry I exploded to like you that. I just didn't know if you knew that or not."

"I didn't do it." he whispered. "I was a bastard this last year. And I took it out on your sister. And I wish I could erase all of that. If there's anything I can do for you,"

She shook her head. "You don't need to do anything. But you're welcome to visit her grave anytime you wish."

"I'd be honored." He said with a nod. "So, that's it? That's the only reason you came here?"

"Pretty much." She looked down at the ground. "How are you though? After that battle?"

"Not too good. I did a really really bad thing during the battle."

"What did you do?" she asked. "Or, is that too personal."

"It's... pretty personal."

"It's fine then. And, I better get out of here before your brother sees me." Indeed, a little lump was beginning to grow in Rachel's stomach.
