A Hallway That's Outside Snape's Office

And Rachel dashed into that hallway. Poor her.

Lin yelled her name again and followed.

Snape stepped out. "Monaseem."

Lin immediatly saw him and sneeered at Rachel's back for a moment, gloating. Quickly Lin covered her face and acted as if she was really, really hurt.

"Oh, heh, hi Professor! Nice um..." she quickly looked around the place. "Weather! Huh?"

It was pouring rain outside.

Snape's eyes darted to the window, then back to Rachel. "Yes... very nice... you understand that you have... Detention?"

Lin sniffled.

"Yeah I know." she said glumly. "Just thought buttering you up might prevent that from happening. Anyway, for how long?"

"One week... with Professor Trelawney..."

Lin showed her face, biting down on her lip to stop from laughing.

"Alright, sir but it seems as though Lin here is just fine!" she said immediately turning around and pointing at her angrily.

Lin looked up then cooly said, "You had every intention to hurt me though. My head does ache very badly though."

Snape stepped back into his office and closed the door.

"I swear, if we weren't outside his office right now..." she said in a dark tone.

Lin winked then evily said, "You've made a wrong enemy."

"Trust me," Rachel came up close to her face, and stared at her meanly, and she generally looked scary. "YOU'RE the one who's made the wrong enemy... you saw what I could do in the Great Hall, and that's just a taste." She leaned back, grinning. "But, tell me if you want a taste for some more!" she said brightly. She then pranced off away from the hallway.
