Random Second Floor Hallway

Amanda floated in, looking for him.

Wallace was there, talking to Clyde about something.

"No, I swear. It was this big." He held up his hands about two feet apart.

Clyde rolled his eyes, sighing. "Not possible... Oh hey, isn't that the girl who lost interest in you ,so I shall win the bet, over there?"

[[THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!]]

"Yeah, well, more like one foot, but still... She's still interested, stupid."

"Ha I knew it and, says you," Clyde said stuburnly, "I see no proof."

Amanda began floating over.

"Still, it's pretty big for -- Oh, evening!" He smiled at Amanda.

Amanda, trying not to sniffle, smiled a bit, that redness in her cheeks from being ill turning into a blushing red. "Evening Wallace and... erm.." Amanda began racking her brain for his friend's name. "Clyde!"

Clyde slightly waved at her, "Good evening, Amanda. We were just having a conversation of you."

[that was the point. ]

Wallace gave Clyde a look. "So, what brings you out here this time of night?"

Clyde grinned at his friend.

"Oh- I was just heading to the Hospital Wing for a little tiny bit of medicine. I have a tiny cold."

"A cold? Maybe someone should assist you to the wing, I'd gladly help. We can have a conversation of my favorite friend on the way and his girlfriends!"

"Clyde, don't you have some underclassmen to molest, or something?" Wallace took Amanda by the hand and led her away. "Come on."

Amanda smiled slightly and waved.

"No I do not, but don't you?" Clyde yelled back at him, angrily.

"Same year!" Wallace called back.

"No difference!" Clyde snapped at him, then walked off to go talk with his other friends.

Antonio, Eric and Fry were all hanging around here just chillin' and loiterin' and stuff.

So Holly was around the corner. She was listening to them talking, but she hid herself from view. She wondered, Why are they always together, when me, Karin, and Selia never hang out? Stupid boys. They're so best-friendy and us girls... not so much. Holly sighed, and decided to listen to their conversation some more. After all, Fry WAS her boyfriend, and whatever their normal conversation was would stop as soon as Holly arrived.

"...And then, well, he was like, 'Because of that, you all have to write two feet of parchment. Extra.'" Antonio grumbled.

"That's horrible! Why would he do that?" Eric gasped.

"What an asshole... I hate him..."

"Exactly! And as a rebel, I'm not going to do it."

Fry shook his head. "That's not a good thing, Antonio. I mean, it's OWL year, and if you do that, well, it's just stupid."

This is boring, Holly thought. But being the nosy bitch she is, she continued to listen.

"I'm surprised that's coming from YOU, Fry."

"What do you mean by that, Antonio?" Fry snapped.

"Nothing, just, I'm shocked you'd against not doing the essay."

But Holly wasn't shocked. She was happy that Fry was pro-schoolwork and such, especially during the OWLs.

"Oh, honestly, just because I'm usually lazy with my homework doesn't mean I'll rebel. It's OWL year. Why are you always on my back, Antonio?"

"Nothing." he sighed.

Eric looked a bit uncomfortable.

"Oh, Fry," she mumbled, burying her face in her hand.

"... So, are you going to do it?"

"Do what." Antonio asked Eric.

"The essay." Eric said, like it was obvious.

"No. Didn't I just say I was going to not do it? Why does it matter? I'm sure you two have not done homework once in a while."

"C'mon, it's almost April, the day's beautiful, what happened to us?" Fry asked.

"We grew up."

"SO?! Guess what, Karin cornered me and started asking what it was like being muggle-born. It was kind of weird. I told her it was pretty normal, but once you've had a taste of being a wizard, I guess looking back to a muggle life it looks really boring."

"What do you mean by 'once you've had a taste of being a wizard'?" Antonio asked. "Do you mean you stole magic?"

Fry didn't answer. "Huh?"

"God, nothing."

[i]God, Antonio's being such an asshole,[i] Holly thought, crossing her arms.

And so the three guys kept talking, awkwardly, about boring stuff. Like who should have won the national Winter Quidditch cup, or other stuff.
