She handed Amanda the leaf. "Happy belated birthday."

Amanda laughed a bit and twirled the leaf around in her hands. "How purrty."

"You're welcome."

Amanda sighed. "Hey Liv?"

"Yeah?"

"What would it be like to be a muggle?"

"Beats me, never been one."

"Wouldn't be too different. We never really use our magic... just like high school but with wands."

"I'd think it would be worse..."

"How so?"

"You die a lot easier, right?"

"Really?"

"I think so. And I hear the schools are terrible! Mine wasn't, but..."

"Makes sense."

"Not really..." Olivia looked at the sky. "Looks like rain."

Maybe all followed the gaze to the sky, "Maybe snow?"

"It's not cold enough yet. I don't think."

"Hm."

"Doesn't feel like it, anyway..."

"Ya never know."

"I guess so."

A large cloud of rain rolled in instead of the other white-ish black-ish clouds. It started pouring.

"Damn optimists!" Olivia pulled the back of her robe over her head.

"GAK!" Amanda pulled the hood up on her open rain jacket, and then shivered, "What if it starts lightning-ing?!"

"It was nice knowing you." Olivia blatantly looked up at Amanda.
