"Hey, Fry, what's up?" Selia said, smiling at him, too. "Me, you, Eric, Holly, Karin, and Antonio so need to get together this summer. Last summer we barely talked AT ALL! I'm going to be staying at my grandmother's in France for a lot of the summer, which'll be a drag, all she'll do is dress us up, but me and Serenity might be able to persuade her to come and stay in our house for a month or two."

"The summer IS two months, though." Fry added in, smirking. "And I guess we found out where you got your needs to dress up. Either way, I hope we could hang out this summer, that would be pretty cool."

"True. Summer seems like forever, but it's only two months out of twelve.. HEY! My Grandmama is a nice person."

"Yeah, you're right. But, how are OWLS coming?" said Karin quickly, desperate to make some conversation.

"Oh gosh, they're hell. You know, you're experiencing it too. But, I guess I'm pulling through."


"I bet she is..." Fry said with a laugh. "Anyways, that's awesome, Eric!"

"Yeah, I'm pretty excited. I told her specially not to tell my parents, though."

"I'm glad you're going to your aunt's, Eric!"

"So am I. But," she looked back towards the distance and sighed. "Things are just too confusing to focus."

"What do you mean?" Antonio tried to look at where Karin was looking at. He couldn't find it. Hmm.



"Yeah, I'm really excited! She's so nice, but I haven't seen her in over ten years."

"Just... everything! With You-Know-Who returning and everything! And, ugh-my sister is such an idiot!" she then leaned in closer and lowered her voice. "She's going out with a MUGGLE-BORN right now! In times like this!" she hissed darkly.

"Really? Well, I'm glad you're finally seeing her. Hey, Fry, can I talk to you? Please?" Selia smiled politely, but there was worry in her eyes.

Fry frowned. "Yeah. Sure. But, whatever you say, you can say in front of Eric. He's the most trustworthy person out there."

Eric shook his head. "It's okay, you don't have to!"


Antonio scowled. "Ugh, are you kidding me? Your sister's pure blood. She shouldn't be going for worthless thing like that. Excuse the way I'm speaking. Just... Ugh." he whispered.

"I agree!" she whispered back. "She deserves more then that... AND, have you seen this guy before? Just..." she trailed off.

"Really? What's he like?" Antonio asked, frowning.

"Alright," Selia said, putting her voice in a whisper. "So, Fry, you're muggle born. Eric, your parents are wizards, and that's why I wanted to talk to Fry, not you. But don't you sort of notice people avoid us a bit? I'm half and half, but my mum, she was a veela. If something were to happen with You-Know-Who..." Selia stopped talking, then went right back at it. "And, Antonio and Karin, they're really serious about it. I mean, serious about the whole prejudiced thing. They don't hang out with anyone else whose muggleborn- except you. If Harry Potter isn't a total nutcase, then what are you going to do?"

"...Small." said Karin, after a moment of thinking.

Antonio smirked. "That's lame. But, Eric is small, it's just that... a muggle-born... Sheesh, what's wrong with this world. I didn't know you thought this way."


"Antonio doesn't care," Fry replied. "And we're fine, I'm sure nothing bad will happen. Besides, Harry's not the only one. He's got whatever whoever and the ministry of magic will help him. Obviously."

"Obviously. Yeah," Selia repeated, nodding. "Okay. Sure. So this summer! It's going to be great!"

Fry nodded. "Oh yeah, totally. I can't wait."

Eric nodded. "Also, she lives by the beach, so maybe you guys could all come!"

"Beach!" Selia's eyes lit up. "That'd be great!"

Eric turned to Antonio and Karin. "Do you guys want to come? It would be really fun! I'd have to ask Holly too."

Karin looked a bit taken back and took a few paces back. "Um... maybe. Depends on what we're doing this summer."

"Karin, C'mon, it'll be fun!" Selia chimed. "We'll go swimming, and paint our nails, and drink smoothies, and have a great time!"

Antonio didn't answer. "We'll see. Like Karin, I might be going to Northern Italy to visit family..."

"You guys.." Selia said, crossing her arms. "That's no fun. C'mon, there's going to be a beach and everything."

"Beach smeach. Either way, yeah, sure. I might be able to come." Antonio turned around and forced a grin. "It would be fun, say."

Eric grinned. "That's great. I hope you guys would come- she cooks these huge dinners outside, my aunt does."


"Food... Will there be barbeques?"

"What's that?" Eric asked.

"More of his muggle cr... stuff."

"It's where you cook meat, or other foods on an open fire in a strange stone-like thing. And it's not crap, Antonio."
