A hallway full of windows

Robin was wandering down here. O, the sadness sketched upon her face... She can't wait for the exams- then she'll bust out of the hell.

And lo, Holly just so happened to be walking down the same hallway. She stopped, noticing Robin. "Hey. What's up? You look... sad."

"Hmm? Oh, hey, Holly. I don't know, I just don't want to come here in our seventh year."

"Why? Don't you want to finish up your Hogwarts education?"

"I don't know. I mean, it's so boring."

"I don't think so." Says the one who has a boyfriend and OWLs to keep her busy.

Robin shrugged. "Everyone has their own opinions."

"But you're a Ravenclaw. Aren't we supposed to be the nerds?"

"Ravenclaws are also wise, and deep, and I guess I'm deep? No... I don't know. I get good grades, just I'd rather not continue school."

Holly sighed. "Well, why else do you want to quit? You can't quit just because it's boring."

"I don't have to continue Hogwarts."

"But you should. There's gonna be so much stuff in seventh year for you to learn so you're better off when you're on your own."

"You'll understand when you're older." Robin shook her head and left.

Holly crossed her arms. "Don't be such an idiot," she mumbled. Oh, if only Holly knew what was really going on in the wizarding world (and starting to leak into the Muggle world), and how horribly dangerous it would be to return to Hogwarts next year. Unfortunately, she didn't have a good understanding of what was happening, and didn't realize Robin was right--she'd only find out when she got older.

Disgruntled and annoyed, Holly went off to find someone else to talk to. Hopefully Fry. Oddly enough, she just wanted to talk to him. Not to snog.

Karin stomped right out of the Clocktower, past Fry and Holly, and down here through this hall. She was sure that they were talking about Antonio and her, and that just made her feel angrier then she already was. Nothing could make her anymore angry then she already was.

And of course, Nick had to be walking down that particular hallway. He didn't stop to make conversation with Karin, but he immediately noticed the family resemblance between her and Rachel.

And Karin turned around, and she immediately recognized who it was. "You." she said sharply looking over at his direction.

Nick turned around. "Yeah. What do you want?" he asked. He believed this was one of the only times he'd talked to Rachel's little sister--which was weird, considering that him and Rachel had been dating for a few years. What could she possibly want from him?

Karin walked over to him, and glared at him, looking down a bit-she WAS rather tall for her age- "You. I want you to stay away from my sister. I'm telling you this right now because she's to much of an idiot to figure out what she's doing to herself."

"What do you mean by that?" Nicolas asked. He managed to keep a calm face, but inside, he was worrying. Did Rachel tell her about... what we did? he thought. Being a Muggle-born never once entered his mind, only what they did that one day.

"You're a muggle-born, are you not?" she asked coolly.

"Erm... yes, I am," he answered, somewhat hesitantly.

She paced around him, looking very much like something of an interrogation officer. "Are you aware that me and her are Pureblood?"

"Yes, I'm aware. It's not like I'm the first Muggle-born to date a Pure-blood--what's your point?"

"My point being is that I want you to leave her alone because right now things are too dangerous for Purebloods to be hanging out with people like..." she looked at him up and down, studying him carefully.

"You, basically."
