Moaning Myrtle's Bathroom

Libby was sitting in the girls' bathroom, cross-legged in front of a cauldron with a fizzing, bubbling blue liquid inside of it. Various potion ingredients were scattered around her, and an enormous potions book was opened beside her. She was experimenting with a complex potion--and since she didn't want to do it in the dorm due to cramped space and personal belongings laying around. Classrooms were out of the question, and hallways--obviously she wouldn't be brewing a potion in the hallways--which led her to Moaning Myrtle's bathroom. Nobody ever went in there. But unlike Harry, Ron, and Hermione in their second year, Libby wasn't brewing a polyjuice potion. She was attempting the Elixir to Induce Euphoria, hoping to sneak it in somebody's drink during dinner, or breakfast the next day. She had picked this one because it would be funny to see somebody having the side effects, which included excessive singing and nose-tweaking. Libby thought of that, and snickered. Then she leaned her head over the cauldron to examine its contents.

"Dammit, it's supposed to be yellow," she mumbled. "Why isn't it yellow yet? It's SUPPOSED to be yellow, not blue."

Libby examined the instructions in Advanced Potion Making, and realized she still had about half of the process of making the potion to go. "Oh," she stated simply, and continued concocting the potion, not noticing that her hair was starting to frizz up. In fact, all she noticed was the potion, and she was being extremely accurate with her work. Lucky for Libby, Myrtle hadn't come to bug her yet.

[It's not homework. Libby likes potions and she's doing this out of her spare time.]

Libby was still working on her potion in the bathroom, oblivious to what was going on down by the Great Hall.

Kelsi, shaking, kicked the door open. She ran in and fell next to Libby. "Libby! Get out of here, there are Death Eaters in the school!" she whispered. "Come, forget your potion! We need to get out of here!" Kelsi cried, tugging at Libby's arm. "Come on!"

"What!?" Libby yelled, standing up, eyes wide. She looked like a mad scientist in the midst of brewing a potion--hair frizzy and all over the place, eyes wide, people yelling at her to forget her potion--it all fit. "Death Eaters? How the hell did they get in?!"

Kelsi shook her head madly. "I don't know! Olivia and I heard this crash, and ran down with Amanda, and we saw them in the Great Hall- We need to warn the others!"

"No, I don't believe it. You're joking. You HAVE to be joking. There's NO WAY Death Eaters can get into Hogwarts!"

"I would never joke about something this serious! Don't you see I'm not kidding?!" Olivia's out there being reckless, and she might get herself killed. There are other students- younger ones who don't even know what's going on. They're up to something, Libby."

Libby bit her lower lip. "Fine. Let's go see what's going on." Before making a move to the front door, Libby got some of her potion in a few small flasks, stuffing them in her large cloak pocket, along with her wand. Her ingredients and Advanced Potion Making could stay. "C'mon. Let's go."

"Pull your wand out."

"My, we're bossy today, aren't we?" Libby joked, though it was hardly the time for kidding around. She took her wand out, and kept it at the ready, and eased into the large crowd of students running through the halls, some in pajamas.
