Transfiguration

Holly was sitting next to Fry and Karin, writing notes on her parchment.

Fry poked his head into the classroom anxiously, as it had already started.
"Youre late," snapped this tall lady with thin lips.
"I-I know, I got lost... Sorry, professor....." Fry mumbled, and took a seat next to Holly. He mouthed,
"Hi,"

Holly mouthed, "Hi." and showed Fry her notes, for him to copy.

Karin was sitting next to Holly, chatting with her. "Herbology was pretty fun, huh? Professor Sprout is so nice!" she whispered.

He grinned.
"now, I want you all to do GOOD. I won't give any exceptions, so you better stay even with what I have to show you all. no. Get out your textbooks, and go to page 23. We'll be learning how to turn a small strip of paper into tape." She handed out small strips of paper to everybody, and it began.

Fry grinned greatfuly, and quickly scrawled down the notes onto parchment.

"Yeah, she is," Holly said. "Head of Hufflepuff, too." She took out her book, opened it to the appropriate page, and got out her wand.

"Yeah, and the class is fun too." Karin quickly pulled out her wand and book and turned to page 23. And than, she read the directions. "Alright, tap it three times..." and she did so.

Holly followed the instructions in the book, and the paper turned into a piece of tape on the second try.

Karin, who just so happened to be blessed in the art of Transfiguration, paper turned into tape right away. But it wasn't just ANY tape, it was DUCK TAPE. "Looks!" She poked Holly. "Look what I did!" Karin bragged waving her piece of tape around.

"Awesome!" Holly gave Karin a thumbs-up.

"Thanks! You did good too!" And than they high-fived. "Hey Professor McConagall! We did it!" called out Karin excitedly.

Fry was struggling with his paper.
McGonagall arrived, and smiled.
"Good job, girls!! Very good!" She exclaimed.
"Well, I'm surprised. These two first years completed something very advanced- for your ages, and did it perfectly! Well, keep working, you guys.." She says in a proud voice, but she stayed stiff. Her thin lips cracked a small smile, but quickly turned straight again.

"You can do it, Fry!" Holly said enthusiastically, then faced Karin. "We did it! =D"

Karin beamed with pride. This day was going great! She was finally at Hogwarts, and she was already pleasing her teachers.

Fry sighed.
"Sure- I guess. Not really, though." He laughed, then concentrated again.

"So, Karin," Holly said, since they were already done with their tape. "I see you've been stalking this second-year. Do you have a crush on him or what?" Holly completely ignored the fact that Fry was on the other side of her.

"Errr...." Karin turned bright red, but than she tried to keep some of her pride. "NO! I just want to learn how to get my away around here, and he's in my house..."

"Orly?" Holly said. "Cause I think you do. And I'm a Ravenclaw. =3="

"Well, I don't!" said Karin grabbing another piece of tape. "We're just ... friends!"

Fry coughed loudly.
"Ahm." he said uncomfortably, since they were talking about BOYS. Finally,he made his paper become tape.
"O YA" he yelled.

"Awesome!" Holly said, then turned to Karin. "You so like him." Holly continued to ignore the fact that Fry was right behind them.

"No I don't!" But Karin was turning even more red by the second.

"Do so. Your face is as red as a tomato!"
