Transfiguration

Kelsi stood outside of her classroom with her schoolbag. It's a brand new one, since she had to throw away her old one, due to having to be a whole new person. She enjoyed pretending to be somebody she wasn't, it was fun. Funner than she thought. She felt safe behind the mask. Even though she was terrified most of the time. Her wand was in her hand and she was leaning against the wall. A few other students from her year were hanging around and chatting. They laughed at something the others said. They had nothing to worry about, though. Good for them, Kelsi thought, and couldn't help feeling bitter resentment. Besides, it's final year. Let's just worry about school work. Kelsi nodded. Yeah... She glanced at the door and let out an impatient sigh. Her heart sank when she thought she still had to put up with it all for... like... a TON more months, with the only motive "Final year, then it's all over!" keeping her spirits up.

"How are you?" asked Rachel, as she leaned against the wall beside Kelsi. She was picking some gunk out from her fingernails. She actually seemed to be pretty calm about the whole ordeal.

Kelsi turned to Rachel. "Pretty good, you?"

"It's okay, too-it's as best it's going to get around here. But, I'm just a little ticked off."

Kelsi turned her whole body to Rachel. "Why?" She asked. Although her body was faced to Rachel, she was staring past her at the floor a few feet away.

"What are you looking at?" she asked, but then she shook her head. "Oh no-never mind. But, I'm sorta mad at those two kids I helped earlier. I helped them and I got NO thanks in return!"

"First years are like that." Kelsi said with a shrug. "They're little twerps."

She began to look more angry, as they were talking about. "I wish I just let them get detention." she muttered, kick her leg back at the wall.

Serenity, who had been standing there, waiting, heard some of the conversation and went over there. "Are you talking about those first years in that hallway, Rach? I went past you guys."

"You saw that?!" she exclaimed.

"Nah, I only saw you and a couple of munchkins. I got kicked out of class, and was trying to avoid teachers, and I went past you. I said hi.."

"Oh, really? I guess I didn't notice or hear you."

"Oh well. So, how are you guys?"

"Doing better!"

Kelsi smiled. "Caping pretty well."

Amanda walked past the group, staring idely at the floor.

The door opened. "Come on in, students." Professor McGonagall said. (Rachel, you play her. 'u']]

Serenity went in and sat down at an empty desk.

Olivia strolled in and took the seat closest to the door.

Amanda was sitting in the middle of the room, seeing as she never liked the back or front in the class.

Rachel sat down in the middle of the classroom, trying to avoid sitting in a window seat.

McConagall stepped to the front of the classroom. She seemed to have a more aged looking apperance, with tight skin, and the look of stress on her face. It was all from what was going on from Hogwarts. But, she cleared her throat, and attempted to appear as the strong, firm teacher she truly was.

"Right then. Just because this your final year from Hogwarts, doesn't mean things will get easier. It's just going to get harder from here. Now, with that, will you please open your copies of Magical Theory, and we'll begin the class with reading aloud Chapter Forty-six..."

Amanda did so, like some sort of robot with not a single meotion flashing through her face, the fight with Libby was really taking a toll on her.

"Chapter forty-six?" Kelsi mumbled. She fished through her textbook. "There's a forty-sixth chapter in here?!" She eventually found it, and her eyebrows raised.

Serenity didn't even bother flipping through the book- she'd do it later.

Olivia took her book out and opened to a random page near the middle.
