Fifth Floor Hallway

Olivia had decided to use her free period to go reminisce about fifth year in the old classroom that she and her now-alumnus friends used to lurk around in. Good times, good times.

Selia was leaning against a wall in the hallway, openly crying, glaring at people who looked at her oddly.

Jake was walking by to get quickly to his next class, when he saw Selia. "S-Selia? What's wrong?" he ran over and looked at her nervously.

"It's just- Holly. She's been horrible. We got into an argument, and then she tried to petrify me, and we started yelling at each other, and she said I had small boobs and was a horrible self-centered person. And earlier today, I tried to talk to Antonio, and..." She started crying again, and hugged Jake tightly.

"But... Selia, you don't have small boobs." He said, trying to make her feel better.

Selia stared at him in disbelief. "I don't care about my boob size!" She said. "I'm more upset about what Antonio said to me!"

He pushed her away, and glared down at her. "Can't you freaking forget about Antonio, Selia? I thought this was about your friend. Maybe, if you had less of a temper, you two would be friends again..." He seemed to ponder over the thought. "Just quit your crying, we're going banister sliding."

Selia stared at him for a few moments, blinking, then smiled and nodded. "Sure. Let's go."

He entwined his fingers into her's, and smiled that smile that made his eyes squint up. "Good. We have break, it'll be fun."

"Then what are we waiting for?! Come on!" Selia started walking.

Olivia was up here, just chillin', nothing better to do.

The bells were ringing in the distance, signalling the end of that period...

Olivia stopped. "Wait, this is too early... free period just started... Where is everyone?" She looked around, the realization that the hallways were completely deserted striking her like a bolt of lightning. There was absolutely no one, not even meandering underclassmen trying to waste time before their classes. "This isn't right..." She stepped to the side and looked out the window at the Middle Courtyard below. Also empty. It was a perfectly beautiful May day, but... why?

The bells continued their desperate song. This was a warning, not the everyhour end-classes bell. "Oh, great, I'm missing something..." With a roll of her eyes, she stuffed her hands in the pockets of her robe and began the trek down to the Great Hall.

(ROFL YES.)

Laura was in the middle of fighting two sixth years.

Serenity was sneaking up behind Laura, levitating a sword with her wand. She smiled grimly, wondering if she really could do this. With one quick wave of her wand, the sword plunged into Laura's back.

Laura fell to her knees, making a disgusting plop sound. Within three seconds, she was dead. And during those three seconds? "Da** you, Serenity."

"Yeah. Whatever." Serenity said, smiling. "See you later." She leaned down and pulled out the sword and throwing it away from the body. "That's disgusting."
