NEW YEARS EVE OUTDOORS

Kelsi shivered in her Hufflepuff-themed sailor dress, with leg-warmers and her converse shoes. She had a thin sweater on her shoulders, and her sailor dress looked JUST like this:

Lavender was wearing jeans that had huge rips on the knees, her T-shirt, her sneakers, and her short hair that exposed her neck. "Lol, ready. : D"

"YEI U CAME" Kelsi squeed, then set a Japanese firework onto the ground. It had the face of a dragon. XP She pulled out her wand, grinning menacingly.
"Lie Cartium Enflamearia! [[Or somethin lyk tat.]]" A small flash of flame flickered onto the stump, and slowly etched it's way to the firework.
"STAND BACK!"
It was snowing lightly, and they were in a secluded area. XD

"Eeeeh, excitement. <3" Lavender said, stepping back, and rubbing her arms. "Gosh it's cold . . . lol, I don't even have shoes on." She wiggled her toes.

"Will this thing explode already?! D:<" Lavender yelled, breath coming out in a cloud from her mouth. "It's freezing out here!"

Max came outside. "Hey, Happy New Years!" he said smiling and waving at her. "And what won't explode?"

The firework went off, with a huge puff of smoke. Sparks were flying everywhere, and it spiraled up into the sky. One landed on Max's scarf, the other on Lavender's jeans. It made whizzing noises. "WHOOOOooooPEIJASHHHAAAA!~!!" And it woke up the entire castle.

"Ohi, Max." Lavender waved, and motioned with her foot towards a Chinese firework thingy that was lit. "It's not explodi-OSHI!" Lavender danced around madly, as the firework hit her jeans. "FIREWORKS ON YOUR JEANS ARE SO NOT KAWAII! D:<"

"Same with my scarf!" said Max brushing it off. He looked at all the beautiful fireworks. It was generally a romantic moment. "Err, nice night." he said.

The firework on her jeans went out, leaving a little burn there. Lavender side-glanced at Kelsi, glad that she wasn't alone, on New Years' Eve, with fireworks, and with Max. It would be too... romantic. Way too romantic. But Kelsi was there. ^_^

"Lav?" asked Max. "What's up?" he asked.

"Fireworks and a starry sky, silly Max." Lavender said. "Why do people always ask me that question? If they want to know what's up, all they have to do is look upwards. But if you aren't literally speaking, which nobody ever is, then I guess I'm a little cold." She rubbed her arms some more and looked up at the pretty fireworks. :3

Max laughed. "No, I mean what's on your mind?" he asked again.

"Got an owl from my parents saying that Casey's acting weird, and - you're right - it is a nice night."

"Really," said Max. "How is she acting like?" he asked.

"Won't come out of her room, when she does she leaves the house and won't come back for awhile." Lavender brushed her bangs to one side of her forehead. They were already down to her eyebrows, but the rest of her hair seemed to be stuck at the ears. Grrr. >=[ "She hasn't talked a lot, never ate, and she's been talking about how she isn't coming to Hogwarts after break." Lavender tapped her numb toes and began humming the Levan Polka, softly.

"Hmm, you sure that nothing bad is happening to her? Did your parents try to talk to her?" asked Max again.

"She doesn't talk. I'm kinda worried." Lavender said, looking down at the grass. "They tried to talk to her, but she didn't say anything. Nothing. So they just let her be - they're sure it's a phase or something."

"Oh, yeah, that probably is. How old is she?"

"Seventeen and three months."

"Oh, I guess she would have grown out of that stage by now.... but I don't understand the girls mind much I guess."

"Yeah, you're not exactly a girl." Lavender said. "Eh, I'd better get in before I freeze to death. See ya in the dorm, Kelsi~ bye, Max."

Kelsi grinned, and skipped forwards, put on ANOTHER firework. This one was a red, pink, white, purple, and all the romantic colors of the colour wheel. She winked.
"I'm too cold. Gonna go inside. Cya! Happy New Year, Max! I'm gonna go hunt Ray down."

She glared.
"NO U STAY." Then, she pushed Lavender closer to Max, and zoomed in.
