NEW YEARS EVE OUTDOORS

"But I'm freezing." Lavender said, and sweat-dropped.

"Err, I guess we're alone...." said Max looking slightly awkward and turning a little pink along with that. =D

Kelsi threw her shoes, and thin sweater, revealing her skinny, bare, arms in the light snow.
"Hurry and get in them. I... umm, am gonna go inside. XD"

Lavender made a mental note to kill Kelsi once she got back to the common room. "Um... I guess." Lavender said awkwardly.

"Arigotou!" Lavender called after Kelsi, and sat on the grass to put on the shoes and the sweater. "Much warmer after it's been on Kelsi. <3" she said, and stood back up.

"Did you have a nice Christmas?" asked Max quickly as though he was trying to bring up an interesting conversation.

"It was most interesting, alright." Lavender said. "The spiders. The slugs. The pie. Good times. Except for the spiders. After that I slept most of the day, so it was good. =3="

Max laughed. "Yeah, I agree." he answered. "I didn't really like having that arguement I had with all of you guys. I felt really bad afterwards..." he said.

"Maybe that'll teach you not to pull mean pranks on people." Lavender said. "I felt kinda bad for making you barf up slugs, but it was Kelsi's idea."

"I guess so, but it was all in good fun." he slumped back. "People just can't take a good joke these days, that's all."

"It wasn't exactly a good joke," Lavender mumbled. "I've had bad experiences with spiders. Hence my screaming and hyperventilating and running away. 8D" she looked up at the romance-color-y fireworks and sweatdropped. She reminded herself again to kill Kelsi.

Then one exploded and made a heart. <3

Lavender grinned stupidly, then within a millisecond it was gone, and she was blushing.

"Erm..." Max looked up at the fireworks. "Well, you guys sure got creative with them. ^^" he said quietly.

"Those weren't my idea," Lavender said. She had to bite the insides of her cheeks to keep them from going into the stupid grin. "I swear I didn't do it."

Max smiled again. "I bet it was Kelsi. She does things like this a lot, right?"

[[ROFL. Gee, I wonder why Even had heart fireworks?!]]

Lavender nodded. "She'splayingmatchmaker," Lavender mumbled, inaudibly, her mouth barely moving. She was nervous and embarrassed at the same time, which isn't a good combination. The girliness in her had moved past the tomboy blockade that had been held strong for many years - but now, it was falling apart.

[I'M GETTING OFF NOW. LOL BYE]

"Kelsi said she stole these from Even," Lavender said. "I wonder why he has heart-shaped fireworks?"

KElsi ran into the black night, and began lighting fireworks.

Rachel got excited. "Your fireworks are gorgeous! And I bet they were even better on New Year's!"

Kelsi winked.
"I left, because Max arrived. I put on these heart fireworks! XD"
