Outside the Great Hall door

"Rachel, if we can make it to the showers before class I know some spells and muggle tricks that will clean out the syrup."

"All right, thanks." she said gratefully, walking towards the showers with her. "Do you think I said too much?"

"Nah, she deserved it. And she just flipped because you said she should be in Hufflepuff... She's been really on edge lately, so." From the fight, it seems Rachel and I are closer..

"Seriously! That was just my own opinion. She shouldn't be so sensitive."

"The other day she decided I was too emo to hang around." Amanda laughed bitterly. "It takes her attention of school work away. Because she cared so much about school before."

"You were just having a bad week." comforted Rachel. "And Serenity never cared about school work. Watch ten years from now, she's going to be serving coffee to fat old wizards who work at the Ministry."

"Fat old Death Eaters." Amanda corrected. "Ah, well, who knows what goes on in her head."

"Not much? Probably there are nasty spiders in there spinning their webs because it's so empty."

Olivia joined them. "There's a food fight going on in there."

Amanda laughed, "Or clock gears moving - -- Liv, your kidding me? Wow. Who started it, a first year?"

"There aren't any first years, dummy. And Rach here started it." She slapped Rachel on the shoulder.

"Ah well... Someone had to shout out food fight."

"It had to be done." she snapped.

Amanda yawned. "Oi, the first floor showers are going to be the next door on the left. I want to say the password is, 'Bubbley.'"

Olivia raised an eyebrow. "Well, grrr to you too."

"Thanks." she looked at strand of her syrupy red hair. "At least none of it got on my clothes." And she rushed off to the Showers.
