Greenhouse 2

Jake was in here with Eric, and the two were working on these strange vine-like animals.

Eric had a bit of a disturbed look on his face, and he had a slight blush over his cheeks. "This is so hard!" he gasped, as he tried to keep the vines from whipping all over the place.

Jake nodded, as his small eyes were squinting more than before. He had two clips in both hands and was struggling to clip the plant's main body vines together. "Thank God it doesn't spit out poison or burn your skin..." he mumbled.

Eric withdrew his hand as one of the smaller vines began tightening itself around it. "Yeah, but they sure could strangle you!"

Jake, with his two fingers, bashed them into the vine's main bulb thing. Suddenly, all the vines shot straight up into the air, twitched, then crumbled around it.

Eric blinked. He rubbed his right wrist as one of the vines let go and dropped down to the table, and he stared at Jake. "I- I think you killed it..." He said, his golden-brown eyes wide.

Jake withdrew his hands, the one hand that had smashed into the plant's center still in the same position as before. "... Pshhh, that thing, dead? I- I doubt it! Because, if it died, well... we'd fail our grade! And it wouldn't do that, right? Right?!" He grabbed Eric's shoulders and began shaking him. "I can't fail another class in Herbology, Eric..." He leaned down and pressed his nose against Eric's nose.

"G-gah! Get away from me!" Eric jumped backwards and slapped Jake. "You freak, it's not dead, look!" Indeed, the plant had wrapped itself around one of the shovels. The two resolved into their intense work once more.
