Greenhouse Three

Rachel stood outside Greenhouse Three, (Crap, dangerous plants today,) waiting for Kelsi and Professor Sprout to arrive.

Professor Sprout walked in, her cheeks red. "You students are in for quite an exciting lesson today!" Grinning, Proffesor Sprout walked in the Green House.

MUAHAHAHAHAHA KILLER PLANTS FORM LAST YEAR.

Rachel leaned over and whispered into Kelsi's ear. "Kelsi, you kill me first, okay? Then you can go find someone else to kill you in the class or something."

A crowd of students filed in, dragging Kelsi and Rachel with them.

"Okay class, take a seat with a group, four people per group!" Laura sat chatting with her mousy brown haired friend, waiting for someone to come to them.

"Wanna sit with them?" asked Rachel pointed at Laura and her friend.

Kelsi was shoved into the class with Rachel. "No, you kill me first. I don't want the slow, painful death from the plants!" she whispered anxiously.

"... Ehhh... Laura's... Oh, fine, what the heck. It's a new year."

"How bad can she be?" After all, Rachel never really had talked to her before. "Err, hi Laura." she said, taking a seat next to her.

Laura laughed even louder at something about Lin that her friend said. Then saw Rachel. "Oh- hiya!


Proffesor Sprout smiled brightly, "You will be dealing with a plant that one calss failed at last year. I hope anyone in that class has learned." Proffesor Sprout motioned to a red plant with white spots. It's fangs viciously seemed to glow. "The Killer Piranha Plant! You will be taking as many leaves as you can from this plant. At the end of class label a little container to your right with your name, and put all your leaves in it. To confuse the plants, you simply pinch their two highest leaves. They will try to bite so be careful. Also- DON'T take off the highest leaves until the very end. Your partners will help you out if you are having trouble. ANY QUESTIONS?"

Rachel's hand shot right up into the air.

"Miss Monaseem?"

"WHY ARE WE WORKING WITH KILLER PIRANHA PLANTS!?" she yelled.

Kelsi pulled Rachel's arm down. "... Don't do that, Rachel. You'll get more detention." And then she eyed Laura who had just shrieked out in laughter in her ear. "... asshole..." she whispered under her breath. She knew why she was laughing.

Laura laughed about how the plant looked like Lin.

"Ten points from Raven Claw for yelling. This will teacher you all to be nice when everything is boring."

"Personally, I'd rather be bored to tears then dead. But," she looked around the class. "I don't know about these people..." she said this a bit quieter.

Kelsi nodded sympathetically, her eyes wide. "Otherwise, let's get to work... Rachel, go get the plants, and the leaf-cutters." Kelsi began putting on her gloves.

Good thing Proffesor Sprout was wearing earmuffs to prevent herself from having to hear the classes screams. "Your effort and grading in this class reflects on your next class. Begin by getting your plants, coat the gloves beside you in the yellow dragon liquid that makes the plants not want to snap down on your hand, and start."

Laura made a face at the 'yellow dragon liquid'.

"Fine," she grumbled, getting up to to get the plants and leaf cutters. She set them down onto the table, and for a moment, she just stared at them. "...Why did I even take this class?"

Laura smiled brightly, looking optimistic. "At least she'll go easy on the Hufflepuffs!" Laura began dipping her gloves in the yellow liquid.

Kelsi nodded. "Yeah, at least!" She dipped her hands in the nasty liquid, and got to work.

Laura was staring at her plant, looking at the different ways to try and pluck the leaves. Her friend was just grabbing what she could then pulling away.

"Yeah, well," Rachel dipped her hands in the nasty yellow liquid. "I think that I should have been in Gryffindor or something... I'm not smart like the stereotype says I'm supposed to be, hah... okay, what are we supposed to do?" she asked, staring stupidly at the plant.

"Pull the leaves off, I think."

"Oh, well then," and she attempted to pull some of the leaves off of the plant.

And, that didn't work out, in case you were wondering.

Kelsi's hands were so covered in the liquid that she kept slipping from the leaves. By the time the bell rang, her plant had completely useless, wrinkled and ripped up leaves next to it, and Kelsi had a few cuts on her face.

Rachel had a large cut on the side of her right cheek, going to her noise. And besides that, she looked pretty tired and completely disgusted. "Ugh, can you come with me to the Hospital Wing?"
