Vast area outside of the Entrance Hall

Eric was here. He was so mad. He couldn't just stand around doing nothing anymore. He never felt so STUCK and so LOST in his life. "WHY!?" he screamed, shooting curses at passing Death Eaters. "WHY WOULD A HUMAN DO THIS!?" He yelled with his wand blasting shooting at a fairly large Death Eater, hitting him square in the stomach. The man stumbled backwards and collapsed unconscious. "HE DIDN'T DESERVE- DESERVE IT!" Eric yelled again. His shoulder was bleeding- there was a huge gash in it. His whole shoulder and sleeve was red with blood, and it had begun trickling down his arm. "IT'S- NOT FAIR!"

It wasn't. Antonio hadn't killed Fry. So there was no business he had with Antonio. He couldn't kill him- he couldn't do anything. But the fact that he intended on doing so- and for his best friend to die so badly... And for him to have no way of defending himself. Human beings were horrible creatures. Eric breathed heavily. He couldn't let all those monsters get away for what they did. It's all their fault.

"Are-are you Eric?"

It was Rachel, and she appeared and stood right next to him. She was shaking slightly.

He looked up at her, clutching his shoulder. "What do you want?! Who are you?!"

"I'm Rachel." she then took of her scarf, and immediately wrapped up Eric's wound. "I'm Karin's older sister. You should get back into the castle. And I have to ask you a question." she took a deep breath. "Have you seen Karin? I've looked everywhere. I figured she had gone through the portal, but I didn't see her..."

"She wouldn't have gone through the portal." he whispered, and looked away. "Last time I saw her, we got split up." His shoulders were shaking. "Leave me alone."

"You're injured. Want me to take you to the Entrance Hall?"

"I'm fine," Eric snapped. "You wouldn't care about getting hurt if you lost a best friend, too." And for that, he walked away.

"You come back here!" Rachel ran up to it, and grabbed Eric by the shoulders, and stared down at him. (She was taller then him, afterall)

"Listen right here. You're acting in a terrible cruel way. I don't know who your best friend is, but right now, he is looking down at you from Heaven, and he's feeling terribly disappointed by how selfish and cruel you're acting. This best friend of yours' would want you to accept my offer, and YOU stop going around shouting like that! You're doing a terrible job honoring him!"

Jessica had gotten swept in here, and was fighting a Death Eater.

Eric appeared. "Stupefy!" He yelled, and stunned the Death Eater from the back. As the death eater fell forwards, eyes rolling, he revealed Eric who was waving darkly at Jessica. "Hey. You need help?"

"Eric!" Jessica cried, running forwards and hugging him. "I'm glad you're okay! Thank you! I was about to lose, I was! Where have you been all this time?"

"Oh, doing other stuff. Are you fine? He didn't hurt you, did he?"

"I'm fine, really... thank you, so much!" She didn't let go, but kept squeezing him.

He grew bright red. "T-thanks..."

She let go of him, and stared right at him. "No, I should be doing the thanking! Not you! And you're SO blushing, not sunburnt."

He frowned. "It's a sunburn!" he said. But the blush was already going away.

"No, see! It goes and comes, and sunburns don't do that!"

"... I have a magical sunburn!" He did this with spirit fingers.

Jessica laughed. "You're so funny! But I still don't believe you. I think you like me!"

"Why would you say that?! In a situation like this?!"

"Because then it's the perfect time to do this, considering it's a now-or-never situation!" And, with that, she held his face in her hands, leaned forward, and kissed him.

His eyes grew wide, and he stared at her nose, making him feel a bit cross-eyed. He's never kissed a girl, after all.

So she was leading the way for this. She had several boyfriends before, thus more experience. However, as HER eyes were closed, she was unaware at how goofy Eric looked staring at her nose.

And Eric awkwardly took her by the waist.

And her, less awkwardly, around his shoulders.

Because yes, they WERE stupid enough to kiss in the middle of a battle. However, since this area was so big, they were harder to spot.
