Apartment Complex (Amsterdam)

She sat up again. "You did NOT just call me that."

"Oh, now she's awake," Boris grumbled staring at the wall, as though there was some camera there and he was talking to it or something.

Olivia was rapidly glancing around the room, as though her wand would just be sitting out in the open. "You have ten seconds to get out of here!"

"Olivia, I want what's best for you, though."

"That's great. Best thing right now? You leaving."

"HAH! Who said I was leaving?"

"Fine!" Olivia got up, grabbed a random bathrobe off of a hook on the wall, and threw it over her shoulder. "Fine!" So, she left.

And so Boris sat there feeling like an idiot, before he stood up and followed her, holding her back. "Olivia, you're being unreasonable. Can't you see a good friend is trying to help you?" he demanded, glaring at her.

Olivia was on her way back in anyway - she'd left her wand behind. "I don't need any help, thanks."

"Oh?! Yeah? You have a hangover, your apartment is a wreck- not to include you're pretty much broke, and you're not doing a thing about it. Before you know it, you'll be out on the streets begging for money."

"I just got the message yesterday. I haven't had time to do anything yet."

"I doubt you weren't going to do anything about it."

"I was. Will."

"Plus, I bet you're lying. If you weren't disowned, you'd be living somewhere nicer, and still be able to party. It may be 1999, but you need to learn some money ethics, Olivia. Plus, it'll give us time to hang out."

"It's 2000."

"I'm still not used to it being 2000. Did you know the muggles thought the world was going to end in 2000? Isn't that lame?"

"Seriously?" Not that the previously-mentioned party had been based on that idea or anything. "That's crazy."

"Tell me about it. So... you smell like alcohol, you're dressed like a whore, and you're wearing makeup. Either that blond friend of yours got ahold of you, or you've been to a party."

Olivia looked down. He was right - apparently, she hadn't bothered changing the night before. "What of it?"

Boris shrugged. "How was it?"

"Same as always."

"What's same as always?"

"Sit around, drink, talk about meaningless shit..."

"That's it? I went to one of those parties, I mostly just danced. I drank a bit, but it's much more fun on the dance floor."

"I usually sit those out. Used to; it got old."
