Eric shrugged.
"I have to study..."

Selia exploded. "You are so smart, and all you do is studystudystudy! You don't NEED to study anymore! You know, like, everything! Come on, Eric, please do it? It's going to be amazing. It's for the good of other people, and it's fun for us, and- - Don't you want to do what Antonio keeps talking about? Leaving a legacy for other students to remember the greatest second years of all time, Selia, Antonio, Eric, Holly, Fry, and Karin? You don't understand, you just can't live, all you can do is study, study, study! You have to take chances. Can you please, just this once, please, do something because it's what you want to do instead of what's best?"

"But I'm not smart, that's the problem! See, I have a learning disability! And I try to do good, but all I do is failfailfail!"

"The only disability you have is a self-confidence disability. If you didn't know you had a learning disability, would you seriously be as bad as you think you are? And you haven't EVER failed in anything! You're just-- There I go again, butting in where I shouldn't be." She stopped talking, grey-green eyes looking awkward.

"No, I do. I mean, I struggle with reading, working, writing, numbers. My head goes all foggy and I just CAN'T understand it. And all my parents do is scowl and ignore me. They're ashamed."

"They shouldn't be! Your awesome!"

"Well, it's not like it matters. All they do is run off to stupid parties... .-." he shrugged and turned back to his work.
"That's why I need to study extra hard to get good grades. But mostly I only get poor."

"Well maybe you shouldn't study off of books, then. You just need a new way of studying. You said it's mostly writing and paper oriented, you have trouble reading.. Well what if it was out loud?"

"... All I see are these squiggly lines, Selia."

Selia wrote down something on a piece of paper.
"Selia luvs u"
Then handed it to him. "Read it."

Eric sighed.
"Why?" he snapped impatiently.

Selia sighed. "Please?"

He grabbed the paper, and struggled. Lulz. He almost had his nose pressed to the paper.
"Sel.. Selia, right? One-nu?"

Selia smiled. "No, it says.. err.." She wrote it much bigger, on a huge piece of paper, in the correct spelling. "S-E-L-I-A. Selia. L-O-V-E-S." She turned red and didn't say it. "Y-O-U. You."

"Well, I'll read it. It says Selia Loves you, it's completely true, and it'll make you more keen on getting the words right next time.." With that, she stood up and left, going to a chair next to the fire.

Eric looked all wtf and left to his dorm.

Selia threw a candle holder at his head.
[Lol, she's probably the most MOODSWINGY person ever. I gotta go to school nao, bai.]

Eric was already gone by the time she threw it.

Selia slept.

Lavender sat by the fire, doing some homework. =3=

Kelsi skipped down the stairs all dressed warmly with her bookbag.
"You ready for Hogsmeade?"

"Almost," Lavender said. She put her homework away, went up to the dorm, and came back wearing an extra cloak, her Hufflepuff scarf, and her Hufflepuff winter hat. "Okay, ready."

Rachel burst into the Hufflepuff Common Room, she wearing a Hufflepuff-y uniform as a disguise. "HI GUYS. HOGSMEADE IS TODAY!" she yelled excitedly.
