Amanda appeared, looking around everywhere. "Ah, so nice to be home!" She did a complete spin and dropped onto one of the cozy chairs by the flickering fire, surprised it wasn't licking the edges of the carpet near it.

Kelsi was settled in an armchair by the window, as far away from the fire as possible. Of course, the heat from it was still not withstanding, since it was still pretty hot from summer. But that also meant not as much light to see what she was doing. She did that spinning thing with her quill, ending up having it splatter ink on her piece of parchment.
"Whoops," she didn't dare touching it in case of the mark smudging even more, and causing the sheet to rip. Kelsi continued working on her essay for DADA.

Kelsi froze in midair. It was seriously boring, making Kelsi struggle to concentrate. She stared out of the window trying to think of something to write after the 'with'. It was neat so far, except for how she tried to squeeze in DADA in the right corner. She should have just written DADA.

Kelsi finished the first sentence of her paper. Immediately, more ideas from the textbook flooded into her mind, and she immediately began writing them down on her essay.

Even though she was getting pretty far along into it, Kelsi wasn't as motivated with DADA as with her other subjects. So she resolved back to staring out of her window after the finishing of her second paragraph.

You-know-who was back. Surprise. Shock. It's true, it has to be, yet- impossible. A wave of fear hit Kelsi. He was back, and ready to kill. She knew as well as anybody else that muggle-borns were like dirt to him. If it were true, and Harry wasn't a nutcase, then, she could actually DIE.

Libby came in, and sat in an armchair next to Kelsi. Because the author of this post is feeling lazy, this post will probably amount to about a line or two.

"Hi." Kelsi said and immediately returned to her essay.
"Gosh, DADA is worse than Potions,"

[i really don't see how long our posts are matters. honestly. -_-]

[[It doesn't matter. It's summer. Big whoopdydoodlydoo, let's be lazy!]]

[Right on. *fistpound*]

"Potions is okay. Can you remind me what all the homework is? I forgot. I just remember a fifteen-inch-or-so essay for potions."

"Essay for DADA, I forgot the length- I'm winging it. Transfiguration is studying the complex switching spells or something, Charms is reviewing summoning charms and whatever the opposite of that is, and. . . That's about it, I think. Otherwise it's read, read, and more reading textbooks."

"Oh joy. First day and they already pile is with homework. Do we have our detention tonight or some other night?"

"I have no idea. I think we were supposed to stay in after class to find out."

"Then let's go find out," Libby said, standing up to leave. "C'mon. Let's go."

"Oh god, but she's so scary."

Amanda appeared with her new, Rachel cut, hair. "Heey guys!" It was a niftyful cut bob, (Sarah posted a picture somewhere), but uneven in some areas and a bit messier than a proffesional's. But to tell the truth, after Amanda brushed the bangs to the side and attacked it with the comb, it looked like she had went somewhere to get it. Even though she had a panic attack when she saw it. she was over the panic and liked it. "...Too much homework."

(My hairdresser had cut her hair and it looked JUST like that. XD)

"AMANDA YOU'RE SO PRETTY!" Kelsi gasped immediately and snuggly-wuggled her friend.
"It fits you really well,"

"Rachel did it.. I had a panic attack but, yea...." Amanda sighed, "Homework sucks."

"Uh huh," Kelsi kept staring at Amanda's hair.

When her hair was chopped, it was sticking all over the place, and didn't have the bob-cut layers that Mandy's did. Heck, she had no more layers in her hair, it only turned inwards.
"Jealous," Kelsi sighed and turned back to her essay. It was half-done.

"Ah... Back to my potions essay." With a notebook by her side and a muggle pen on top of it, for Amanda loved the pen and notebook for tiny notes, Amanda grabbed a book on Dragon's Blood from her bag and started up on it again.

"Hmm. . ." Kelsi sighed and resolved to staring out of the window.

Amanda sighed, and started her last paragraph on her potions essay.


When Dragon's Blood is mixed into a love potions, used by all wizards and witches at least once during their youth, the love potion's sweet mixture will be canceled out. The Love Potion will then turn into the not very well known potion, The Hate Potion. Slip in a lock of one's hair into the potion, and for a temporary time perioud one will hate that being.

Amanda smiled as she dotted the last perioud onto the page.

After completing her Tranfiguration homework, Amanda was purely bored. She sat on the cozy chair at the fire and began to look for faces in the designs of the room.

"Gaaaah.... I'm bored... starving..."Amanda unlocked her legs from the criss-cross-apple-sauce XD (Indian style) postion and let herself fall back in the chair.

Kelsi stood up and slammed her books shut.
"DONE!" she yelled and threw everything in her bag.
"Now for detention."
