Serenity's mouth dropped open. "It doesn't.. Matter? It was all my fault! I feel so terrible, I shouldn't have gotten so jealous, I can't believe your going to be blind and you don't care and it's all my fault and--" Serenity didn't finish the sentence, and she put her head down on the bed, like a kindergarten class in trouble for making noise, and started crying.

"Don't cry."

Serenity raised her eyes and mumbled something. Then she repeated it, louder. "Move your hands."

"No."

[I'm gone for two days and Angel falls out a window and goes blind. D8]

"Move them!" Serenity lifted her head and wiped off her eyes.

He didn't respond for a moment, his smile fading. "As you wish, mi'lady." He moved his hands. [i fail at nightmare fuel, brb. typing.]

Serenity waved a hand breezily, but it came out sort of stiff and forced. "Really, you still look amazing. Except I won't ever be able to dream about staring into your eyes anymore during History of Magic..."

Serenity blushed. "NOT FUNNY. Anyways- - the truth is, you look really scary, but I'm trying to make you feel better, not worse! So...... How do you FEEL?" She tried to smile, but then she stopped herself by realizing he wouldn't be able to see it. So it didn't matter as long as she sounded happy. So she dropped the smile and put on her real face: A mix of terror and guilt.
