Cruise Farmhouse Cottage

An owl like slammed into the window.

Everybody jumped a foot.
"GIAH DIOA" Fry yelled.
"OGOABOGOA" Andrea screamed.
"ASPHODALITHTOPIA" Kelsi exclaimed.
"ACKALAKABOOM" Ally spat.
"You *foghorn*'s, it's an owl."

Robin stood up and strolled to the window. She opened it slightly, and grabbed the letter.
"Shoo," she pushed the owl and it flew away.
"Letters, for Hogwarts." Robin smiled, and separated them like a stack of cards.

Then she got trampled.

And they all went to bed, too bothered about the Grace incident to have dinner.

That morning when they woke up, Kelsi and Robin rushed to put on their clothing. Kelsi quickly ran the brush through her hair and pulled back her long bangs. She's trying to outgrow them. She then just pulled on a white tank-top over her jean shorts and her pair of black sandals. She grabbed her purse and threw some coins into it from their huge money-bank.

Robin just pulled on a light blue summer dress that was tight around her core and waist and flowed to her knees in folds. The collar was quite low and only two spaghetti straps held it up. She brushed her long, waist-length hair and split it into two long braids.

The two of them ran down the stairs to the kitchen, and inhaled the delicious smell of bagels. Ally had this funny, dreamy look on her face. She smiled at the two of them, and flipped an egg on a pan. Kalyani was next to her, squeezing fresh oranges into several cups.

They were both talking in hushed tones with wide smiles on their faces.
"...it was in my letter..." Ally whispered.
"...What will you wear?" Kalyani replied.
"...I could send you some fabrics, or make it myself..."
"...That would help, mom... maybe you could..." Ally hushed quitly as she tug the spatula into the pan and flopped the egg onto a plate that Kalyani was holding out.
"...and then you'll have to send me everything..."
"...still- what about the others? It'll be dangerous..." Kalyani said as she set the plate to the side.
"... I don't want them trying to ...... got it?"
"... Of course, Mom,"

Kelsi was trying to listen in, but she couldn't catch anything that made sense. And Ally was still smiling that mysterious smile.

Kelsi grabbed her untouched letter and ripped it open. A small flyer fell to the floor, announcing something about bringing dress robes.
"Ah... And why?"

Ally winked.
"No reason, Kels."

"You know, don't you?"

"Only Seventh years got the notice in their envelope. And sixth years, or so I heard."

"Heard from who?"

"Oh, I'm starting the rumour. 8D"

Kelsi rolled her eyes, and looked through the list.
"Wow, this is alot of stuff."

"One of you two could have my stuff,"

"ROBIN GETS IT!"

"WHAT THE HELL, I GOT IT LAST YEAR!"

"... 8D YOU STILL GET IT."

Robin dug her nails into Kelsi's arm.
"No,"

"OW! FINE! GOSH, DON'T HAVE A COW!"

"You're the cow." Robin snapped.

"What's your problem?!" Kelsi exclaimed and rubbed her arm.

"Nothing, god."

"Something, and don't said god's name in vain."

Robin slammed her fork to her plate and stood up.
She left the room, and went off to go to the Illumination Household.

Libby arrived at the Cruise household, and knocked a few times.

Andrea opened the door in her bright yellow tank top and capris.
"Hey, Libby. Umm- yeah, Kelsi'll be down in a second." she still looked a bit in shock from last night.

"KELSIIIIIIIYOU FRIEND'S HERE!"

Kelsi ran in from the kitchen.
"Hey, Lib. Everything alright?"

Libby nodded. "Yesterday Holly and I went and got piercings. " She pushed her bangs to the left side of her face, revealing a silver eyebrow ring in her right eyebrow. "Holls just got her ears pierced, but I already had mine pierced twice, so, whatever. And my parents said that me, Holly, and Drew can all go to Diagon Alley without parental consent! =3"

"lolurgoingemo" Kelsi said, and poked the eyebrow ring.
"I have two piercings on my ears. I plan on getting two more, though."

Andrea rolled her eyes and left the two of them.

"You ready for Diagon Alley?"

"It's not emo! It's a kinda punk-ish style or whatever. Don't touch," she said. "Oh, but I can't go off without Drew and Holly. I have to wait. Andrea, the sorting is horrible. I had to fight this mutant badger to prove I was a loyal Hufflepuff!"

Andrea like stopped in her tracks. She turned around with a look of total disbelief.
"And I'm related to Britney Spears," she said sarcastically before skipping off to the kitchen.

Kelsi shrugged.
"Like I care. 8D" In fact, she looked quite cheerful all of a sudden.

"I'm serious! I had this huge scar the whole year!" Libby exclaimed. "They freaking torture you!"

"Don't bother, Fry like, ruined the tradition."

"Dammit," Libby mumbled. Just then, Drew and Holly arrived, Holly bearing some jean shorts, a "Periods Suck""Commas Rule" shirt, and black Converses. Drew, well, he just had jeans, a T-shirt, and shoez. =3=

The others came.
"Robin poof'd somewhere, so yeah."

"Let's go," Libby said.

And they left.

When Robin had arrived at home, she slammed her bedroom door behind her in anger. On the way to her bed, she kicked the foot of Kelsi's and kneed into her bed. Robin punched her pillow in anger.

Why does Serenity have to be so annoying?! Why is it that I always have to get myself in these wretched messes, and end up loosing my temper?! Darn it! And that idiot! Who does she think she is?! Robin thought in anger. Her eyes burned from the hot tears that were coming down from her mood-swingy puberty moment.

Robin has reached the Teen Angst stage in her life. And it was worse than ever.


When Kelsi entered her room after that long day in Diagon Alley, she settled all her bags down and settled Robin's new uniform on her bed. She bought Robin a uniform, despite the fact that Robin wanted to impress people with her uber rebelliousness, but she'll just make a fool of herself.

Kelsi emptied her suitcase and stuffed the useless stuff in random places in the room. Then, she re-put everything needed in the suitcase and sealed it closed. Kelsi stuffed the suitcase under her bed quietly, and made herself to the window. She leaned out of the open window into the cool night air, and saw Robin sitting on the roof staring at the garden with some annoyed look on her face.

"Hey, Robin, wanna come inside?" Kelsi asked, and nudged Robin on the shoulder.

"No, I'm fine," she replied. Then she sighed a shaky sigh.

"Hey, how'd it go at Olivia's?"

"Horrifying. I think Serenity and I are like, enemies now." Robin turned around and looked up at Kelsi.

"Hmm... I promise you, it'll all get better. I'm sure of it. Now, c'mon in, will you?"


Robin glanced up at the similar face of hers, only with the wider, more childish face. And the shorter purple hair. And the black eyes.
"Yeah, I guess." Robin stood up, and crawled through the window.

Kelsi grinned, and leaped onto her bed. She changed quickly into her pj's and prepared her bed.
"Aren't you excited? Ally got us both some base dresses for the dress-robe thingy. I wanted to see hers, but she just didn't let me see them. And, she had this weirdish funny look on her face." Kelsi chattered on, but Robin didn't listen that much.

Kelsi sighed as she tucked herself into her bed. The cool covers were just in the wash today, so they were crisp and crackled when she pulled them back from the bed. Kelsi closed her eyes and drifted into a heavy sleep of stuff. Drew popped in once or twice, but he had butterfly wings and giant clown shoes. Otherwise, she had a pretty peaceful sleep.


Robin fell asleep like a doorknob, and was out before you knew it. She was well, sleeping. And stuff.

"DAMMIT, GET THE FREAKING ROOMS READY, YASH! >O" Mrs. Cruise yelled at her older son.
"Shut up, I shouldn't even BE here. I'm going out. BYE."
"YOU ARE NOT GOING OUT!" She yelled in a high, shrilly voice.
"I'm in my twenties, and I live with my mom. That's so messed."
"DO I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING MYSELF?!"
"Yes. See ya."
"YASH, I AM GOING TO KILL YOU IN YOUR SLEEP!"
"I love you too ma," Yash ditched.

Mrs. Cruise ran her fingers through her dark hair and began bustling through the house and rushing up and down the stairs, each run for something new, or if she forgot something.

Fry and Robin were both settled on the couch pouting and staring at the fireplace. Fry was still in his pajamas from the morning, and Robin was. . . well, in a towel.
"Why don't you two join the others at the beach?" Mrs. Cruise asked happily.
"No," both said in unison.
"Why?" Mrs. Cruise questioned as she washed the plates from lunch.
"Boy problems," Fry said.
"Girl problems," Robin muttered.
"Robin, do you have your period?"
"Mom, what the heck? I do not." Robin, appalled, snapped angrily. She stood up and made her way to her room.

Fry sighed, and continued staring at the fire place.

Mrs. Cruise turned to Fry.
"Did you have a wet dream? "
"Holy crap, mom! I'm not 10 anymore! I'm not 12 anymore!" Fry sounded appalled and ran to his room to change.


Mrs. Cruise flashed a dark smile.
"Eh, it always works. YASH!" She shrieked, and her oldest son came down still in his pj's.
"Whaaaat."
"Want to go to the beach?"
"No. I want to sleep. I'm so bored."
"Then go to the beach! Swim! You know? Glub glub?"
". . . I'm not four."
". . . Did you get a wet dream?"
"MOM! I'M PAST PUBERTY!"
He ran up to go get changed.
She laughed a creepy laugh and continued drying the dishes.

(Kelsi's mom is creepy. XD)
