BEGINNING OF THE YEAR FEASTIVE!

And so, Rachel quickly ran into the Great Hall as fast as possible. It was a cold and stormy night, and she did NOT want to get wet. It would get her robes all wet, and they would not be dry by morning, and she did NOT want to walk around with cold, wet robes.

So Rachel quickly ran over to her usual spot in the Ravenclaw table, and set her bag next to her. She hoped that the sorting would go by quickly, for she was really hungry.

She sighed happily, and gazed around. Finally! She was at home in Hogwarts! Her long summer that seemed to drag on forever had come to close. And now, it was time for the excitement and drama of school to begin...

Serenity walked into the great hall, putting one hand on her hip and looking around while, for lack of a better word, strutting over to the Ravenclaw table.
She was wearing heel boots, and god darn it, the heels were nearly covered in mud. No worries, she had some boot polish in her closet.
"La la la la la la la la.. La la la la la la la la.."
She was singing quietly, if you seek amy stuck in her head. Serenity sat down next to Rachel, pulling off her hood and buttoning up her robes tightly. "Sup? He hasn't started yet, has he?"

Kelsi entered the Great Hall with Serenity, and went her own way to her table. Her shoes did these random squishy noises from the wetness, but she didn't mind. It's not like she's gonna wear them tomorrow. After all, it's all just a matter of time before they'll dry.

She settled down softly into a seat, and bounced a little to get more comfortable. Kelsi settled her elbow onto the long table and turned to the Staff table, where the sorting would take place. She was anxious for her sister. Hopefully Andrea will go into Hufflepuff!


Robin sat in the back of the Ravenclaw Table and took no notice of the sorting that was going to take place. She didn't really care about it, and never really enjoyed the presence of Andrea. The kid always bugged her after all.


Fry sat down at his table with some other Gryffindoor dudes in his year, and they all chatted about their summers. It's not like he'd hang out with them, but they're still his buddies.

He really hoped that Andrea would be in his house, so that the two of them could catch up on being partners in crime.


Ally sat in the front of the Ravenclaw Table with her friends and talked animately. They admired her hair cut, but she didn't really see what difference it had in it. So, she just shrugged and said,
"Oh, it's like it was in our fifth year, you know..."
Then, she'd simply flash a smile, and they'd start talking about other stuff.

"Huh?" said Rachel looking up. She had been staring off into space just there. She didn't exactly know why, but she had been doing that lately. It looks she really was taking after her mum, having that dreamy trait about her.

Wait- what was Serenity's question again? Oh yes, she asked about some guy... "I think...." thought Rachel. "Well err, no, I don't think so." she finally said.

"You don't think so? How can you THINK Dumbledore hasn't started saying anything? I hope those firsties go fast, I'm not in the mood for any repeat sortings. So, after the first four, I want some food."
Serenity crossed her legs and arms, pulling a drop of water out of her previously hooded ponytail.

There was an elaborate, hexagonial box on the platform...
This was one of those times that Liv thought it sucked that she was the only one out of her friends in Slytherin. Oh, the tedium. But at this point, there was really no changing that. Besides, she knew deep down that they just weren't cool enough. ;D

Libby entered the Great Hall, and sat down next to Kelsi. She wrung out part of her hair, which was very wet, because she had to get Drew moving. In fact, Libby was completely soaked.

Drew, who was also completely soaked, trudged over to the Gryffindor table, and sat down. He felt like "shiitake mushrooms".

Holly entered, and sat down at the Ravenclaw table with Selia, waiting for the sorting.

Nicolas was at the Hufflepuff table, waiting for his sister to get sorted. =D

"Well now, I dunno," repeated Rachel, with that a dreamy quality entering her eyes. She than turned her head towards the Hufflepuff table, and stared dreamily.

And, as though God had heard Olivia's wish for friends at the Slytherin table, PANSY PARKINSON appeared. Her high-pitched life pierced the air, for she was laughing at some joke that Draco had apparently said. "Oh, hi Olivia!" she said, finally taking notice in Liv. "How was your summer?"

"LET THE SORTING BEGIN" said Dumbledoor.

And it began.

All these kids with their surnames starting with A and B ran up and stuff.

Serenity sighed, staring at the plates and imagining the barbeque pork and fries that would fill her plate at least three times before she was full.

Selia sat down next to Holly, grinning, hair in two elaborate braids that were tied back behind her head. She shook some water out of her ears, eyes glinting mischievously behind a veil of mascara. "So, did you kiss Fry? Or, did he kiss you?" She whispered.

And since it looked like the Great Hall was about full, THE SORTING BEGAAAAAAAN.

Lyn was in line, fidgeting nervously. Because, after all, her life was truly starting here. A time to make new friends, learn new things, and have a lot of fun doing it. But, she didn't say anything to her friends about this, of course. She was way too nervous.

Kathy was with Lyn, tapping the ground with her toes.

"Dang, when did those first-years get so short?" Libby whispered to Kelsi. "They're all midgets."

Nicolas was waiting for Kathy to be sorted.

Max Silva still wasn't really in the mood to talk or mess around. Even in an important time like the sorting. Instead, he found himself with arms folded up, and his resting on it, and staring off in a rather Haruhi like fashion. He always felt rather... depressed during the beginning of the year, with kids having so much contact with their parents and such...

"No, Lib, the question is, Were we that small when we were first years?"


Andrea stumbled to the hat when her name was called. She pulled herself onto the stool and like, stared at all the staring faces.


Kelsi waved in Libby's face.
"SHHHH This is the good part!"

And she got sorted into...
