Stone Bridge

Angel was standing here, leaning on the side. The gentle breeze tossed his smooth black hair over his glasses. This particularly bothered him, so he pushed it to the side.

Of course, Serenity would never guess he was here.

Serenity ran onto the bridge, looking like a magician with her top hat and cloak. "Hiya Angel! Livi told me you were here! I have a magic trick for you!"

"GAH!" His head dropped.

Serenity laughed loudly. "Alright! For my first trick.."
She pulled off her hat, pocketing the panties quickly. She showed Angel the inside of the hat. Empty. Then she proceeded to pull Miles, Alita, Vera, and Mia the kittens out of it. "TADDAA!"

Nonetheless, he pulled his head up, smiled his signature smile, and applauded.

Serenity bowed, then pulled out her panties. "FOR MY NEXT TRICK! The mystery of my Magic Panties has yet to be solved by anyone, man or woman!" (..... ROTFL!) She pulled a broom out of the panties. "Tadaa!" She spun them around, pulling out an unworking iPod. "Tadaaaaaa~" And last but not least, she pulled out .. Her history of magic textbook. "So that's why I didn't study!" She stuffed the panties, textbook, broom, and broken iPod into her hat again.

He twitched slightly, adjusted his glasses, and applauded again. "Is that all?"

"Last one!" She pulled out one of those Pimp magician canes. Holding on to both ends, she spun it around right in front of Angel, and pulled. Both sides disappeared, and in their place was a frilly pink bra. "Tee hee! Angel, hiding some undergarments?" She stuffed the bra back into her hat, putting the entire thing back on her head. Then she took a long and dramatic bow.

He wasn't looking. His eyes were fixed on the starry midnight sky.

[Did someone spike Serenity's... air? ]

Serenity pouted. "Apparently, being at a school of magic, it doesn't impress you! That, or you just get the tricks."

"No. You can clearly see Orion tonight."

[I must confess..... I had loads of ice cream. ]
"You mean that one thing that's a radio? Sirus?"

"No. Orion. Look." He pointed. "The head's there, see?"

"Yeah. What's it supposed to be, a person or an animal?" She tilted her head to the side, trying to look at it clearly.

"A person, Miss Rosensteel." He managed to keep his kindly voice, despite being quite annoyed by her lack of knowledge.

"Oh, okay. Orion, hunter in Greek Mythology. The scorpion that hit him became Scorpio, and he was just a hunter. He was one of the few males that Artemis supposedly liked, and so when he died from that scorpion the Gods apparently hung him up in the stars. If I die, I wanna be in the stars too! Sirius was his dog..." Serenity may not know the stars, but the Greek Influence on them was most of her entire childhood learning. Plus, magic panties wasn't fun to talk about when there was stars to look at!

"Exactly." He was slightly relieved.

"Virgo and Sagittarius are my favorites. And, when you can see the planets, that's amazing too." Serenity tapped a toe, trying not to shiver. She was glaring at the bridge like it was the source of the cold, the one hand on the railing tightening and trying to crush it. Obviously, she didn't get anywhere with that notion.

Being as sharp as he is, he noticed. But he didn't say anything. "You should be in your dorm. It's past the curfew."

Serenity grinned. "So should you. I went to ask your friends, the Death Note cosplayers, Madame Pince, and everyone else to find you. And now when I finally get here, you're telling me to leave? Uh-uh, no way." She stopped tapping, pulling out her magic panties and pulling a jacket out of them. {MAGIC PANTIES OF DOOM} She put the panties back in her hat which she in turn put back on her head, then she put her jacket on.

"Shall I carry you there?"

Serenity bit her lip, considering her options. She could be carried the whole half a mile in by Angel, perfect Angel, or stay out here and talk some more and freeze. It was quite obvious. "Alright, fine."
