Common Room

Kelsi was sitting on the couch with a cup in her hand full of punch. There were bitemarks on the crease of the cup. She was staring at the flames of the fire blankly. Kelsi had clearly zoned out and was deep in her mind, hypnotised by the flames.

[no it's almost midnight.]

"HEY KELSI!" Libby yelled in her ear. She couldn't really hear well because of the crowd cheering. Her ears hurt.

Kelsi still stared. She had blinked when Libby yelled in her ear, though.

Libby waved in Kelsi's face. "GUESS WHAT. DREW TOLD ME HE'S IN LOVE WITH YOU."

Kelsi fell off the couch and hit her head on the small table thing and stood back up. The cup of punch over-turned and fell into the fire, causing the flames to buzz up and shoot sparks all over the place. One spark fell in Kelsi's hair, but she took it out by pinching the strand of hair carelessly.
"HE DOES?!" she yelled. Then stared at Libby. Of course.
"Oh, jeez, thanks. Anyways, I triple-fuzzy-purple-spotted-dog dare you to ask Max to that stupid Christmas ball thing coming up. By the way, did I tell you that I'm intending on going alone? Alone and proud, mate. For real. But really, you should ask Max to the 'ball'. You'll Ball, right? Weird name..."

Libby Shion/Mion/Rena/Rika/Kira-laughed. "You think he'd say yes? After what happened?" Libby lowered her laugh to a giggle, then stared at Kelsi. "He'd probably yell at me and tell me to go away or something. He probably hates me now."

Amanda walked in, attacking her face with a bottle of make-up remover. She plopped down on a couch mumbling,"This is what I get for trying to be a fan!"

"WELL I'M OFF TO GO FIND MAX. " Libby got up, glomp'd Cedric, then left to go find Max.

Libby returned, and sat by Kelsi again. She nipah'd.

"WHAT DID HE SAY?!" Kelsi screamed in Libby's ear.

"He said yes," Libby told her.

Kelsi leaned back in the couch laughing, and kicked her feet upon the table thing.
"I'm so happy. That means you two made up?"

"Maybe," Libby said, and shrugged. "I overreacted when I yelled at him a few weeks ago."

"You did."

"Now that we've discovered the fact that Libby is a dumbass, let's prove her more of a dumbass when we look at her dress. "

[msn.]

"Ooo, I wanna see your dress!"

"No. It's a surprise."

Kelsi shrugged.
"Fine by me. I'm gonna go work on my dress, see ya. Guess what? I can stay in my bed with the drapes pulled around it and feel calm. but I can't sleep with them yet. I'm working on that. anyways, I'll be upstairs if you need me. In my bed. Don't enter it, though. I'm working on my dress."

"I need to sleep, so I'll be in the dorm."

Nicolas was chillin'. irl

"HELLO EVERYONE!!" yelled Rachel. "Wow, the Hufflepuff Common Room is so cozy!" she said, looking around admiring. "And it smells GREAT in here!"

"Hi Rachel," Nicolas said.

Kelsi was finished working on her dress for the night when she came back down snoozing in long sweatpants that trailed the floor, and a baggy T-shirt whose sleeves went to her elbows, they were so big. She had stolen it from Yash before leaving.
"You visited last year, Rachel." she said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Anyways, how're you? Guess what?! Libby asked Max to Yule, and he said yes! Isn't that awesome?!"

"Oh hi, didn't see that you were in here... meh, I really am hyper today, huh?"
