Serenity glared at Amanda. "When will you learn that manga is worthless, and an entire bag should be devoted to clothes, not those stupid books?"

"Max's cousin is going to be a firstie. And I hope to God that he isn't a Hufflepuff..." Libby lowered her head into her hands, the super-duper double facepalm.

Kelsi had begun snoring lightly.

"Watch," said Rachel teasingly. "I bet he will."

Kelsi tried shifting her weight but her head slipped off Rachel's shoulder and she leaned forwards towards her lap. Kelsi woke up at the start and looked up at them all.
"Who?" she said warily.
"Gosh, I'm so tired. =3="

Amanda looked at Serenity with wide eyes, wondering what the heck the glare was for. "...I do pack clothes I need. Usually the ones I can actually where. And not some little magic girl show costume I prance around in. I like reading manga and find it much more refreshing then wasting money on high priced clothes that'll I'll grow out of in a few monthes."

"Max's little cousin. I think his name is Matt or something."

"How do you know this?" Kelsi asked Rachel curiously as she opened her bag for the purple and yellow quilt that she's brought with her to the train rides for the past five years. She laid it out on her lap and fished around for her new book by Meg Cabot.

Amanda looked up at Libby. "...Is he more horrible than all of us in a room with about fifty bottles of soda, and ONE ice cream container?"

"Well what I don't find refreshing is how stupid and wasteful those books are. If we can even call them books! There's more pencil marks than words. For your information, that magic suit is called me doing what I love. You have no life, Amanda Potter, beyond those stupid comic strips, and that's the truth! You spend zero to no time with your friends, then expect to stay over at their houses for the entire summer, when you barely know them! All you do is draw pictures, and read those things, I wouldn't complain if you were like Libby, who reads them in her SPARE time, not constantly like you do!" Serenity crossed her arms, glaring at Amanda.

Kelsi's head slowly turned to Amanda.
"How'd you know about the ice cream." she questioned Amanda.

Kelsi turned her head to Serenity.
"You guys, it's the beginning of the year, please can we not fight?"

"I'm sorry. It bothers me I barely know Amanda at ALL, because she's always with you guys or reading those DESPICABLE THINGS!" Serenity looked quite steamed.

"I over heard Max talking about him once, and yeah, about that Amanda. Or worse. You would just have to see him in person, according to Max."

"...Ice cream, and us just seem like they don't mix." Then Amanda turned to Serenity. "Serenity, you do what you love and I do what I love. I try to hang out with you guys but I'm constantly ignored in a crowd. One of us yea life is fine, but other times no, completely ignored. And if you really would just consider it for a moment, have you ever thought about the boat I'm in with my family? Zip. I have Harry who barely knows I'm alive, I have my aunt, uncle, and causin who are all slobbering pigs, I have you guys who ignore me a lot of the time, and then I have my escape from the world." With that, Amanda grabbed her trunk and left.

"Nice going Serenity." Kelsi said from behind her book.

"You shut up, Kelsi, you know she avoids us, those silly excuses about being ignored. I don't know a thing about the stupid girl! I have no clue she's got a terrible family, I don't know anything about her, and she thinks she's ESCAPING from the world? Sooner or later she's going to lose the crap world she's built for herself, and realize she has no friends because she didn't take the time to talk to us, or at least ME, at all! I can't remember a single time she talked to me last year! That's totally wrong."

(Well Serenity must have memory lost XD. Amanda calmed her down after Laura REALLY had gotten her all shook up, or she when tossed a rock at Laura for Serenity)

"But you brought this on yourself, Serenity. She's right about the fact that you shouldn't be chasing her around, just because she likes manga. Tons of people like manga. And just because she spends the majority of her time reading it doesn't mean you have to jump on her back. And I agree, also, that she ought to spend more time with us. Otherwise, you shouldn't have told her that so roughly." Kelsi said quietly still from behind her book.

Libby leaned against her seat. She didn't want to get into this.

Rachel wasn't going to get into this either. She than poked Libby and whispered to her: "I might find another compartment to sit in,"

"So, maybe you should say sorry, and she'll then say sorry, and agree that she'll hang more with us! It's always like that. Otherwise. . . Are you guys excited for Hogwarts? I'm really eager to see the new teacher."

Masked flew in, looking as if he had the same opion about this as Rachel and Libby. "Caw. Caw."

Serenity glared at the owl, looking at it like if it came any closer, she would kill it. She grabbed the letter, leaning over the table, then shooed the bird out.

Kelsi was leaning against the window sill fast asleep. It had gotten much darker now, and her blanket was folded on the floor, fallen from her legs.
