Rachel walked into the Great Hall, and settled in her usual spot in the Ravenclaw table.

Serenity slid into her seat next to Rachel, staring at the plates hungrily. "Gosh, this is gonna be swe-eet."

Selia slid into her seat down the table, looking at the plates, but not imagining the food about to occupy them.

"I know, right? I'm so happy that we're back at school!"

Holly sat down at the table beside Selia.

Libby sat down at the Hufflepuff table. Libby was dragging Kelsi with her.

Livi sat at the Slytherin table, once again thinking that it sucked that most of her friends were leftov-- Hufflepuffs.

"Hey, Holly, what's up?" Selia looked at her, smiling a bit.

Serenity grinned, nodding. "Yeah! It's so exciting! Oh my god. Oh lordy. Who in the name of God is that lady with the hideous pink cardigan? She looks like a HAIRBALL. OH MY GOD, THAT'S NOT OUR TEACHER, IS SHE!? NOO! SHE'S A HAG!" Of course, she whispered this.

Kelsi stared at the pink lady.
"Oh crap. . . Rachel was right."

Libby grabbed Kelsi's shoulders. "KESLI WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO SHE'S WEARING PINK. D:"

Kelsi's eyes were shining.
"At least it's a girl, We've had a sexist role in the DADA stand for the past four years. I hope she's nice, though. And not what Rachel thought. . . Hey, she looks like those huge toads from the choir in our Third year. Remember those?"

Karin sat down at her spot at the Gryffindor table. "So, the year's about to start!"

Fry sat across from her.
"Finally," he mumbled and stared at the sorting.
"Were we that small when we first started? I swear we weren't that small."

"Well, we WERE both kinda tall for our ages back then, remember. Wait, never mind. You're still tall for your age,"

"Oh my god, she's a hideous hag! I'm going to diie!" Serenity gulped, looking at the plate again.

Selia smiled at Holly again, looking back down.

Rachel stared at the new teacher, that fat lady who wore that bright pink in disgust. "She shouldn't be wearing that color!" whispered Rachel to Serenity. "It's way too young for her! You know what I mean by that?"

Kelsi smiled.
"I'm sure she's nice. Just because she has a bad sense of style and looks really ugly doesn't mean she's mean, right?"

"Yeah, that's pretty cool."

"OH MY GOD, OUR TEACHER IS A FOXY GRANDMA TYPE. SHE'LL PROBABLY TRY TO POLE DANCE IN HER CLASSROOM WITH HIDEOUS AGE SPOTS AND WRINKLES AND HAIRS COMING OUT OF HER MOLES. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!"

"Yep," said Rachel table heading. "I really AM the only sane one in this entire school!"
