Fifth Year Girls Dorm

"Thanks, can I check over you guys? Because I'm struggling quite a bit. I just can't understand anything this year."

Serenity came up here, smiling slightly.

"Hey guys! What's up? Why did the teachers give out homework on Halloween Weekend, I could never guess, but I suppose it was lighter than normal. Ooh, love the costume, Rach."

"How come everybody knows our password? It doesn't feel so hidden anymore."

"A munchkin let me in."

"Well, that's odd."

"I'm not complaining, personally, I need some serious help in History of Magic." Serenity had out a clipboard, and a long piece of parchment hanging from it, only half done. "It's due tomorrow, you know."

"Want to head to the library and study together? I need to work on it also."

"...I could use some help too, Kelsi," said Rachel quietly.

"Sure! That'd be great! It's nice and quiet. Rachel, come on, we're not going to leave you. Of course, if there's a ton of people in there, and we want to be able to talk regularly, Ravenclaw Tower's always filled with studying nerds. They're alllwways silent. It's so boring. Let's go!" Jumping up and stuffing all her junk into her bag, Serenity went down the stairs.

"Sorry- of course you can come, Rachel! How's your homework going?"

"It's going pretty good, actually," said Rachel proudly. "I got it ALL done! Except, I still have to make some translations for Ancient Runes. But other than that, I'm done!"

Serenity stuck her head in the room. "COME ON, it's due tomorrow, not in a week."

Kelsi grabbed Rachel's sleeve.
"Let's get going, then." And so they all went to the library.

Libby sat up in the dorm, hanging upside-down on her bed, her hair touching the floor. She wasn't really thinking of anything in particular, moreso of... daydreaming. Then, amidst the unrelated-to-her-life thoughts, something completely related to her fell from the sky into her head.

She realized something. Fifth year was supposed to be a catching up with friends year, but the only friend she was really hanging out with was Kelsi. She knew four other people! Though, most of those somehow kept getting into the Hufflepuff dorm, which was kind of making Libby mad. It was like an invasion of privacy to her, like siblings barging into her bedroom at any time they like. Though, there was still times where Libby was out of the dorm, and at those times, it seemed as though the only person she hung out with was Kelsi. And a little with Max.

Max. Max. Max. Clock tower. Braces. People laughing in the background. Libby turned reddish-pink just thinking about it. I'll need to stay away from him until one of us gets our braces off, she decided, flipping off of her bed and landing on her face. So something like that doesn't happen again.

Despite her just thinking about needing to spend time with her friends, Libby got up off of the floor, walked over to her trunk, grabbed The Odyssey out of it and began reading in the dorm, forgetting completely about wanting to spend time with her other friends. 8D

Amanda slipped into bed wearing a pink tank top and black shorts. She didn't care if was cold or not, she was just beat. With a slight movement of the hand to turn the light at her bead off, she fell asleep.

The sun barely showed through the thick, dark orange velvet curtains that fell and inch from the floor. But of course of out her luck, the light poked through the curtain exactly at Amanda's bed. The massive cucoon of blankets wiggled a bit. A quiet groan came from the heap of blankets, barely making a sound because of the thick covering. Amanda groaned again, mumbling some sort of imcomprehensible curse. She couldn't stand the hot, sticky morning breath that was being pelted back at her nose everytime she breathed through her mouth.

Fighting against the sweet feel of the hot, cozy blankets surrounding her, Amanda thrashed her legs rather violently in her cucoon. From the outside of the bed, it looked like there was a monster trapped and trying to get out. With a single last groan, Amanda flinged her covers across the bed to the bottom. With a triumph grin, Amanda jumped off her bed. But, her blankets were wrapped around her feet, cuasing her to trip, hard. Swearing again, Amanda got up and went into the bathroom.

After brushing her teeth and tugging at her hair with her large brush, Amanda slipped like a snake into her uniform. Putting in a birght yellow hairband, Amanda grabbed her school bag of the day and jogged off.

Kelsi was settled on her bed reading one of Amanda's mangas. Of course, she picked a completely random chapter in some series she didn't know, but it felt so much better than reading some textbook that she's run through so many times. It cooled her off and she, for once, didn't feel stressed, considering that a pile of agendas and textbooks were just by her feet.

She doggy-folded the page and set it on her bed, and made her way out to find some friends. Since she's been camping out in the common room studying and stuff. So then she left. /lazy

The next morning, Kelsi woke up extra early. Instead of heading for breakfast, she made her way to the girls' bathroom with a plan in mind. Last night she had concentrated a bunch on some things, and it was time to put a change.

Kelsi was snoring with her butt sticking into the air and a small pool of drool was forming on her pillow.

Amanda walked in eatting a, chicken finger, of course. She was on a chicken finger kick lately so yes, she was eating the last of her dinner. Slipping into some long pants and an over sized t-shirt, she went to bed.

Amanda's eyes fluttered opened, and for once when she got up, she just sat straight up on her bed. She rubbed her eyes and stared at all the pictures she had hanging on the bedframe and curtain of her bed. A poster or two of anime, some drawings of her and her friends, and of course, a first year picture of everyone little and happy waving towards her. With a slight smile she pushed the curtains open and remembered it was Christmas break by the lack of lumps in most of the beds. With a content sigh, Amanda began adding the finishing touches to her gifts.
