Fifth Year Girls Dorm

"Yes, it does mean that."

Kelsi was spinning around the chair. Her hair, which fell past her shoulders, spun around her face. She was doing this, so that the acne cream on her face would dry faster. It was a new kind, and this kind burned her face. So she couldn't wait to get it off.

Kelsi ripped up the entire screenplay and threw it into the trashcan.

Kelsi was on her bed. Clothes were scattered around her and her trunk was at her feet. She was thinking. Did she do well on her OWLS? Will she pass? Will the train get home safely? Will her parents and sister be waiting for her patiently at the station? Will she kiss Drew? Will Olivia be able to come to her house? Will it rain? Will it be hot? Will she finish packing?

She stood up. "I wanna go for a walk."

Libby set her book down, stood, and stretched, arching her back. "I'll go with you."

So they were now in the Owlery.

Kelsi entered the dorm room and was mostly just grinning like an idiot. Seriously. She looked ready to explode.

Libby had (somehow) arrived before Kelsi, and was packing her trunk, when she turned to see her friend grinning like an idiot. "What happened?"

"I kissed your brother! OH MY GOD!" Kelsi sat on her bed.

"OH MY GOD! Really?!"

"YES! IT WAS SO RANDOM! I stood up and he leaned in, and BAM! And I know you were watching, by the way."

"I was not watching. Psh." Libby turned a little pink and looked around the room.

"I've known you for fives years. I'm not an idiot. But that doesn't matter. BECAUSE NOW I HAVEN'T JUST KISSED MY GRANDMA! Figure of speech, figure of speech. Just..." And she laid down on her bed.

"Six," Libby corrected. "I looked away when it actually happened, though. I couldn't watch."

"Well, I saw his eyes up close, and they're so pretty. I love his eyes."

"We have the same eyes and you've never said anything to me about mine being pretty. '^'"

Amanda walked from the bathroom into the dorm, yawning. "Oh hey guys. Year's ending whoop. No OWLS..." Amanda was pretty much rambling to herself as she doublechecked her packing job.

"Well, your eyes are very pretty. Oh my god... This was the best moment of the year."

"I bet it was, Justine. I bet it was."

"Who's Justine?"
