Seeing as we're all ignoring the owl post. . . Amanda stared at the lake, thinking of a new muggle song she heard some girl singing. She closed her eyes, deep in thought. Hmmm... Hmmm... What was it?! Amanda opened her eyes and began to sing it.

Amanda stared at the water, wondering if she could find any flat rocks to skip. Still sitting, Amanda began twisting every direction she could without getting up to find a flat rock. "Are they ALL bumpy?! Hphm.." There was one about a yard away from Amanda five minute later. "Reeeeaaaacccchhhhhh...." Amanda narrowed her eyes in concentration and flung herself towards the wrong. "Ha!" Then she noticed she was sitting on snow. Without snow pants. Mumbling, she went back to the castle to change out of her wet jeans.

Bore was sitting on a bench that was half-buried in snow. He somehow reappeared after like, a whole semester of being invisible, and was reading some book.

He was dressed in these black baggy winter pants with a sweater pulled over them and thick fur-embroidered gloves. And then there was a hat that was sliding down the back of his head.

Bore flipped the page.

Amanda and Olivia appeared with their skates.

"Geez... Crowded." The ice was pretty scratched up already.

Amanda shrugged. "If we fall through the squid can save us."

"Or eat you."

"-_- You're a jerk..." Amanda sat down on the snow and put on her skates.

"Am not. D:" Livi did the same.

"Merry Christmas, Olivia!!" Bore yelled out. Because he hasn't talked to her in ages.

"Isn't that the guy who said a lot of your friends were freaks and you agreed Liv? -_-"

"I didn't agree. IT'S JANUARY!!"

"Whatev's. Let's skate now."

She nodded.

Bore checked his watch, apparently since it can show the date too.
"...OH. RIGHT. Well, happy new years!"

Amanda careful started the rpocess of gettin to the ice. After testing it on the rim to make sure it wasn't mushy, Amanda skated in more and spinned towards Liv. "The ice is fine!"

Liv joined Amanda, then looked down. "Squid isn't there."

"Lame."

"Very."

Amanda spun around again. "Baaaah. Race ya to the tree over there." Amanda pointed to a tree about four yards to their left, right near the ice.
