Path to the Lake

"GOSH. IT'S COLD." yelled Olivia. "I'm yelling again... ._."

"I have instant hot chocolate I bought from the twins in my bag."

"Those wacky twins."

"IT'SSS GOOOOD." Amanda carried on the S's and O's for fun. "I have cups too."

"Is there bad hot chocolate?" She paused. "Well... maybe if it wasn't chocolate."

"Meh. Then it'd be something else!"

"Yes. Yes it would."

"We're here!"

"Huzzah."

Amanda had started walking back to the castle. "Don't wanna be late for class, Liv!" She called back, turning her head to look over her shoulder as she walked.

Livi was following, a bit father behind. "M'KAY!" she replied.

Amanda swung her bag back and forth. "I hope we're not late..." She mumbled as she picked the pace up a bit.

Livi was trying to keep up. "Slow down, dangit."

"What if we're late!"

"THEN WE CAN BE LATE TOGETHER. Or else I'll be even more late. What time is it?"

Amanda looked at her watch. "Time for class!" Amanda grabbed Olivia's arm and RAN.

"ACK!" Livi was practically being dragged now.

">:O RRRRRRRRRRRRRRUN."

"I'M TRYING."

Amanda continued the mad dash.

"FLYI~NG!"

Amanda was now breathing heavily, her once neat hair was frizzy, and her cheeks were red. "LIV! We gotta RUN."

"I'm trying! BUT YOU ARE RUNNING REALLY FAST AND PULLING ME AND IT'S FUN AND I'M LIKE FLYING."

Amanda eye rolled and continued running.
