"Did you forget to study for Charms? Because this IS what we're taking today,"

"Defense Against the Dark Arts?"

Suddenly, Professor Flitwick appeared. "We're ready for you!" he squeaked.

Rachel M. wrote:"Let it all out Kelsi, let it all out..."

Libby came down, fully-red hair neatly brushed into a ponytail, looking all calm. Inside, she was slightly nervous, but she had been studying and she felt confident.

"Ermn... ready? Really?"

And so Rachel walked in. And yeah.

Kelsi suddenly got really pale. Because yes, it WAS Defense Against Dark Arts.
"..."
She remembered how the DA meetings had gotten all mixed up, and she promised to at least read important passages last night- but had gone to bed immediately-
"Oh my god."

Amanda skipped into the Great Hall.

Olivia sighed, hoping that she'd be able to think back four years, and followed Amanda. Not skipping, though.

Amanda sat at a desk, the color draining out of her face as she reaached for the quill in front of her.

Rachel sat down at a desk, the one that was smack dab in the middle of everything, and took out her own quill.

Libby sat down, at some random desk.

Kelsi entered the Great Hall.

It was the first time she never wanted to enter the Great Hall. Just overreacting... just overreacting... chill out... It's just a test... Kelsi thought to herself. But she didn't STUDY. For an ENTIRE SUBJECT.

Professor Flitwick was talking. He than finally passed out the papers. (Magically, of course) "When I turn over the hourglass, you may begin. And remember, NO CHEATING WHAT SO EVER!" he than turned over the hourglass. "Begin!" he squeaked.

Amanda started.

Rachel turned over the piece of parchment, and began to stare at it for a minute, with a slightly blank look on her face.

Kelsi stared at the parchment. She couldn't think of anything, other than she forgot to study for DADA.

Rachel than finally looked over all the questions first, than returned to the first one. She wrote down the answer to the first question, and slowly, it all became easier for her...

Amanda quickly got past the first five questions, seeing they were easy ones for anyone who studied the first chapter at all. Or even just read it. As Amanda got to the sixth, she death gripped her quill. Her knuckles quickly turned white to match with her ghostly pale face that could compete with the real ghosts. Who, annoyingly, were flying across the Great Hall moaning, not even closing their mouths when they were done, just keeping them open as if they were trying to catch ghost flies. Amanda stared at the paper, wiping the sweat off of her brow. Don’t panic Amanda. You studied! All you have to do is concentrate on nothing, NOTHING, but the test. Taking a quick breath Amanda got to the sixth question,

‘Name more the incantation for the water and fire spell, then explain the differences in the hand and wand movements.’

Amanda smiled stupidly, she knew this one. Writing semi-neatly, Amanda continued the test.

Kelsi began the test. She wrote each letter extremely slowly, so that it looked neat- in her case, really neat, and she pressed her fingers against the pencil until they turned white.

Olivia stared at the parchment, not writing anything. What the hell was Homorphos, some kind of gay repeller?
