OWLs .

Rachel turned to Amanda. "Amanda, I'm nervous,"

Amanda shrugged, "It we focus on the part of we studied - -- which I'm hoping you did- you'll be fine ^^"

"But it's Transfiguration!"

"I'm so happy it's Transfiguration. I mean, finally, something that I'll at least get an acceptable in!"

"Kelsi, you're GREAT at Transfiguration. You're going to earn yourself an O at this no sweat,"

"...Aww, shucks..." Kelsi did some weird waving thing at Rachel.
"You're too sweet... But really, Rach, I told you, this year was H-E-L-L."

"Well, it's going to be over soon. Right?"

"Yeah. After this it's history."

"...Oh crap, I'm going to fail that."

"Me too."

"How do they expect us to remember all of those dates!? And what is History of Magic good for anyway!?"

"The Ministry of Magic? Didn't Binns tell us that we needed those sources for life?"

"Nothing, that's what." Serenity said inbetween stuffing her face.

"Serenity, where the heck did you get the food."

"I keep food on me at all times." Serenity finished off her fifth box of ham and cheese croissants and stowed the empty food boxes in her bag.

Olivia was wishing she hadn't sat at the other side of the Great Hall. She knew that her friends would have probably gotten most of the questions right, so she could have cheated from theirs. Alas.

The OWLS started. The written part was short. Kelsi finished the first page rather quickly, she knew all of the questions so it wasn't that hard. She was nervous about the spell-work though.

Rachel was staring blankly at the 10th problem. I mean really, who knew what the proper incantation was to turn a match into a needle?

Kelsi was stuck at question number twenty seven.

Serenity was at fifty four, biting the end of her quill tip. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PINE CONE, A PINCUSHION, AND A PORCUPINE?

She truly didn't know.

Kelsi figured out the question and kept going.

Serenity started muttering. "Pinecone, porcupine, pincushion..."

Libby was going at a good pace through the questions, taking her time, and trying not to stress over this. It was just a test, when it came down to it, and there shouldn't be much stress over it - she'd been studying all year. Getting all nervous and worked up wouldn't do anything.

So, she sat there calmly working through the test.

Kelsi was now at question thirty-one. She's progressed a couple questions. Three more pages, and she would have a break for breakfast.

Amanda started out at a very good pace, then she got stuck.
