New Cruise House

Kelsi held her knees tightly and bit her lip. It was horrible. How come- why... Serenity's mom just died. And that was the only sentence that was bouncing around her head.

Finally, she planned something pretty mastermind-y. Ish. Anyone could do it. Everyone was asleep, even Fry and his friend-person. Even Robin. So she snook out of bed, and down the hall, into the entrance. Then she went through the fireplace.

Kelsi was at home, ignore all plans whatsoever. She was sitting at the kitchen island snacking on some maple leaf cookies, and Robin was snacking on grapes.

Suddenly an owl flew through the open window.

"AHHH! BIRD!" Robin ran out screaming. Kelsi grabbed the bird, and pulled the letters off. "...Oh god, scared. scared. scared."

Kelsi grabbed her letter and opened it... Then set it aside. She reached for Robin's, and called out, "OH MY GOD! THE OWL'S LOOSE! ROBIN! GO HIDE IN YOUR ROOM!"

Robin screamed and a door slammed. Kelsi grinned, and opened the letter. Robin's letter.

...She did alright," Kelsi said to herself, then yelled out, "IT'S OKAY, ROBIN!" She set the letter aside, and opened her's.

Robin entered the room, and checked her grades. She screamed out in happiness and spun around. "YES!" she cried out, and started dancing.

But unlike Kelsi, who didn't start dancing, got:

She felt ready to cry. She didn't get ANY O's. And she failed three classes.

Immediately, Kelsi glared at Robin. "You're a nerd." Then, she left to send a letter to Libby. She KNEW that she was going to get into even MORE trouble once they see THIS. Heck, it's bad enough that she was grounded, snook out, came back at two in the morning, and now this. How're they going to react when they find out her first kiss was with a nineteen year old...

Ally joined in with Robin's cheering.


Kelsi sighed. "How am I going to get a living with THESE grades?! God, I hope I'm not the only one..." Then she decided to go dramatic and fell face-down into her pillow and cry.

Kelsi sniffled. She was breaking a visit to Libby's house.

Fry's and Eric's grades came in.

Fry stared at Eric's grades. "Whoah, you're pretty good."

"I know. I really want to be an Auror, or an auror's assistant, at the very least, you know?"

Kelsi bit her lip, and entered her room. Great. Just great. They saw the grades, and obviously now she's grounded for next year. Crossing her arms, Kelsi lied down on her bed, and stared at the ceiling. Man, it's going to be another really long month before school starts.

It was the next day, and Kelsi was... umm... outside in her yard. Her room was way too hot.

Kelsi was so bored. Really, really, bored. So she decided to secretly send mail to all her friends.

Kelsi was going to reply, but her mom came in that moment. "You're not going to that wizard-alley place."

"EHHH?! BUT HOW'LL I GET MY SUPPLIES!" Kelsi shot forwards on her bed, and glared at her.

"Ally tells me shops all around are closing down, because of the Dead Eatings." She said smartly.

"Death Eaters..." Kelsi muttered, her face shadowed by her side-bangs. Or, well, they're outgrown bangs.

"Yes, that's what I said. So Ally's going to get your stuff for you."

"B-but-"

"But what if they come while you're there, and you guys don't come back home in one piece, huh?!" Her mom pointed at Kelsi. "What do you say about THAT?!"

"Then we'll go and hide. Obviously. And Ally will save our butts."

"... Do you want to go with your friends?"

"OBVIOUSLY! We only go once a year, after all!"

"... I'll think about it."

Kelsi resulted to writing letters again.

At this moment, Fry and Eric were outside munching on hot dogs.
"You know, I never knew you could use sausages to make something like this," Eric sighed.
"You serious that you've never had a hot dog?"
"My parents find United States very vulgar, along with anything from it. And it IS muggle food, right?"
"... Well... Yeah, I guess."

Kelsi was in a long blue tank top that fell past her butt, and right above the pair of bright red shorts. She was wearing a pair of plain black flat tennis shoes, and her shortish hair was pulled back from a hair band, including the side-ish bangs. In her hands was a huge hot dog hanging from the sides of a bun, covered in ketchup and mustard. She really didn't care about weight, and it was the summer, so who really cares.

Robin had her long hair twisted into a braid that hug over her left shoulder. She wore an over-grown plaid shirt that had the sleeves rolled to her elbows, and a pair of yellow knee-low leggings. And she was bare-foot, since she was in her backyard.

(It's the nineties, and that WAS the style back then. o3o]]

Some muggle neighbors were there with their kids, but both girls let Andrea take care of all the kids. There was another kid who was Andrea's age, so at least she was helping her. Kelsi bit into her hot-dog and stared at the house. Ketchup gushed over the sides and if it weren't for the five napkins holding the hot-dog, Kelsi's hands would be covered in red and yellow. She swallowed, and side-glanced at Robin.
"Summer is really boring."
"That's because you got yourself grounded."
"I want to go back to Hogwarts, at least we won't have some huge test at the end of the year."
"I don't."
"Why, Robin?"
"If we went there, I wouldn't feel as safe as I am here. I want to eat barbequed food every day with family and friends, just hanging around and having fun. I don't want to go back to some magical community where some insane killer is on the loose trying to kill everybody related to muggles. I mean..."
"Wait, you don't want to go to Hogwarts?"
"Dumbledore is getting old, Kelsi. There's not much he can do anymore..."
"What do you mean there's not much?! He's the greatest wizard of all time. He's not getting old. I mean, the school itself is old, and is it dangerous to go in?"
"Well, it's magical, isn't it?"
"So is Dumbledore! I don't see why you don't want to go back!"
"I just don't want to put myself in full risk in a-"
Kelsi shushed Robin. "Shut up, there are muggles here."

Robin glared at Kelsi. "You were talking loudly too, you know. Besides, being in a wizar-"
"Shut up, will you?!"

[*Waves a little flag*]

Kelsi suddenly decided something. "Hey, I'm going upstairs, Robin. It's too hot outside."
