Random Carriage

And so, Rachel settled herself into the random carriage.

Amanda sat in this one also. She didn't wanna sit with random people.

Serenity sat next to Rachel, and whispered back to her. "We've been trying to get her to grow up and face the music for about a year now. Someone needs to get her into shape- or she'll be living off us once we're adults."

Rachel nodded and she looked a bit fumed. Great-Amanda had sat in with her and Serenity. This was going to be quite an annoying ride to the castle. "So, um... I learned how to knit and crochet over the summer," she said casually.

Amanda face palmed. "I can hear you guys." She muttered, than said in a normal tone. "That's cool make anything spiffy?""

Kelsi swung her legs over the carriage, and she toppled to the floor. "Ooops! can't really do that anymore-" Then she gasped. "You learned how to knit?! Isn't it fun?"

Serenity felt the same way, and was trying not to glare at Amanda for ruining the friendly ride with Rach and Kelsi. She considered them- along with Olivia- to be her best friends..
"Hey, Kelsi! Come sit over here! There's room! And, Really? I learned how to fill out a job application successfully!" She knew immediately she had said the wrong thing- starting on jobs and future was never good.


Maybe she could push Amanda out of the carriage..

[I said whispered.]

"Yeah, I made a scarf... it's kinda ratty and short though," she shrugged though. "Like anything, I guess it takes practice,"

[Yea but she is sitting right there. The seats aren't that far away apart so. ._.]

"Ya know, this seems awkward for you guys so I'll just switch carriages." Amanda smiled casually and left that carriage.

"Thank God," Serenity muttered to herself.

Rachel looked back. "It looks like we really hurt her feelings, though..."

"We've been trying for a year, Rachel. If she gets her feelings hurt, she'll get over it. We're just helping her with her future! She just doesn't understand. If having her friends hurt her feelings makes her understand, that's what we'll do. Or, I will, at least. I've tried, Rach. It's time to get serious!"

Kelsi sighed. "It was fine with her here. I'm just really nervous for her, you know?! We're in our sixth year- and, and- I don't want her hurt, or messing up. I would help her, just... You know what? I'm going to forget it. In the dorm tonight, I'll apologize, but for now, I'm with my friends, so... yeah. Umm, Rachel, if you want I could show you how to do the purl knit, stockinette stitch, and such. It's where you do one row of knit, then another of purl, and it looks so cool! I bet you'd love it."

Libby entered the carriage. "Hey, you guys!" she greeted them, and sat down.

"Lib!"

"LIBBY!" Kelsi hugged her friend.

"KELSI!" Libby hugged Kelsi in return.

"My mum is pregnant seven months," said Rachel suddenly. "With a little boy. They're going to name him Dante."

Kelsi blinked a few times. "And your mom must be... forty? Almost fifty? And there's huge age difference- OH MY GOD RACHEL YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE A BABY BROTHER!"

"Yeah, I won't be around to an enjoy him or anything... I personally think that we're just having him so Dad can have someone to carry on the family line..."

"Your dad's an ass. No offense."

"Well, if he wanted to do that, why wouldn't he do it a long time ago, without a huge age difference?"

"Because like Kelsi said, he's an ass and probably thought of that around seven months ago."

"Really?" Serenity said. "Maybe he can marry Regina! She's out with my aunt, in Brussels, France, though. Me and Selia can't take care of a baby."

Kelsi stared at Serenity. "... That's a stupid idea. I'm sorry, but it is."
