Carriage #3

Clyde sat, staring at his friend across from him.

"What's wrong?"

Wallace sat there, gazing out the back of the carriage with a wistful look. "Oh, Clyde... matters of the heart. Be glad you know not of them!"

"Oh god. You're back to normal. Did you two lovebirds make out?"

"You PIG! Of course not; I've told you many times, our love is as pure as new-fallen snow!"

"You broke up. Didn't you? . .. Isn't that her and her short friend?" Clyde motioned toward two friends on the road.

"WE WERE NEVER TOGETHER, YOU DUNCE!" Wallace hit Clyde on the head.

"Oh well, did you to never-be's have a fight?"

"No! Well... yes... maybe. It's just that... she's so... so... beautiful! And... so utterly blind!"

"She wears glasses. Duh."

"I will strangle you, Clyde."

"Oh, you don't mean literally? What is she not seeing that you are, mate?" Clyde openly ignored Wallace's comments.

"What?"

Clyde sighed, and talked to Wallace slowly like an adult would to a young child. "WHY. IS. SHHHEEE. BLIND?"

"She's blind to everyone around here! We're trying to help and she's being all, 'NO YOU'LL ALL DIE'"

"She has a point. Death Eaters try and kill 'er every summer. Or so I've heard."

"I know, but..." Wallace couldn't think of a response, so he just huffed and looked out the window again.

"She said she loved you. Didn't she?"

"Shut up."

"What did you tell her?!"

"She left before I could say anything!"

"Aaa likely story."

"No, it's true!"

"Mhm."

Suddenly, females!

Clyde looked at the girls, then to Wallace. "What timing."

Amanda sat beside Wallace, without a word.
